I got the Calabrian bouillabase and my partner got the seafood tagliatelle, and both were amazing! The bouillabase was just the right amount of spicy with the Calabrian chiles, and it had huge pieces of 2 types of fish, giant prawns, oysters, clams, and shrimp. My partner liked the salmon and prawns in his pasta. Service was excellent, and the owners spoke German, Italian, English (and probably more languages given the region's proximity to multiple countries). We didn't have a dinner reservation so were seated outside on the charming patio (2 sections, one with heaters close to the restaurant, and the other further away with blankets).

The food itself was good, but the overall experience was not great. Be prepared to wait 3 to 5…read morebusiness days for your meal... The chef recommendations we had were all nice, including the tuna and swordfish carpaccio and the different seafood entrees we chose. The pizza was also very nice. Some of the staff were friendly and more attentive than others. We understood that we went on a busy night, but two tables who were seated quite a while after us both got their meals a long time before we did. Our appetisers took 70 minutes and our entrees took about 85 minutes to arrive. We asked about the food about an hour in and were told "it's very busy, you need to be patient". Only when we pointed out about the other two tables having eaten did our food arrive. BEWARE; they charge €6.50 for tap water! We questioned it and the woman said "it's not like America, it's normal here". Firstly, we are English and French, not American. Secondly it was our third night in Germany and our seventh time dining out and this was the ONLY place that charged for tap water! The food is also more expensive than anywhere else we ate at in Fussën. Good food but poor service from some of the staff. We went for dessert elsewhere.

It's 5 minutes walk from the Theatergarage parking garage, but it's smack in the middle of the walking only shopping plaza, so definitely find a parking garage and walk to it. There's plenty of signs for it but it is in the basement of a building so there are winding stairs, not wheelchair or stroller friendly at all. They do have kids meals on the menu but the waiter didn't offer a high chair and we didn't see any in view until we were leaving and saw a stack literally hidden behind one of their signs, so that was probably our bad for not asking for a high chair for our baby. The kids meals are limited, literally cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, spaghetti Napoli or penne bolognese. No cheese sticks and there's a pizza bread option but it's literally just baked pizza without any toppings LOL. BUT I ordered spaghetti carbonara and my husband ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza which we both loved. The prices weren't bad at all, and there was a decent selection of food. It did get busy very fast with lots of reserved tables even for a Tuesday evening, but we showed up right as they opened, so we luckily got a table. Overall, a good experience, definitely would go back!
