We spent Christmas Eve dinner here, drawn in not just by the glow of the lights or the promise of a warm meal, but by something more, something that made the world outside fade for a while. Just a few steps from Le Méridien Vienna, it was as if the universe conspired to place it within reach, making the choice easy, like slipping into a well-worn chair by the fire. And the food, the kind that makes you close your eyes for a second, just to savor it. Rich pastas, perfectly balanced flavors, and wine that melted the last of the winter chill. We lingered over every bite, knowing that some meals are more than just food, they are moments, sealed in time. Dessert came like a gift, as sweet and satisfying as the evening itself. The service? Thoughtful, unrushed, the kind that makes you feel less like a guest and more like an old friend. We walked out into the crisp Vienna night full, happy, and knowing one thing for certain: once was not enough. So we came back. Because when you find a place where Christmas feels a little warmer, where the food is worth remembering, and the welcome feels just right, you don't just visit. You return.

Spicy Salami Pizza - very tasty crust, San Marzano sauce was well balanced, cheese golden brown, spicy salami not overpowering. It was a 5 star pizza for sure. Calzone - stuffed with ham, artichokes, olives, mushrooms, mozzarella, tomato sauce. 5 stars As good as the pizza was, the pasta might have been even better... Carbonara - we had very good carbonara in Italy, but this was the best we've had. Perfectly balanced. Not too much egg base, pancetta great Smokey flavor and texture, often it gets over cooked and tough. 5 stars Truffle cheese filled gnocchi - wow just wow. These large gnocchi are so rich, another must order if it's on the menu when you go. Order some bread to make sure you don't waste a drop of that truffle cream sauce. 5 stars Service was very friendly and you could tell they really appreciated that we were enjoying the food so much. We so wanted to eat there the next day, but alas had other scheduled food stops to do...but really we should have had a 2nd meal here to try other things. Next time I'm in Vienna for sure I'm stopping by and I highly recommend you do as well.
