The restaurant is owned and operated by Carlo Sica, and by reading the framed news articles adoring his walls, he's been making pizza for years! They have an extensive menu including traditional and gourmet pizzas, pastas, meat and chicken main dishes, soups, salad and desserts. The restaurant is B.Y.O. only and you can either sit inside the dining room or out on the footpath. It's a very quiet street with little traffic, and the alfresco seating is very casual and popular. We were just picking up our takeaway pizza on Sunday night and the outdoor seats were all occupied, and there were a number of older Italian couples. I take that as a sign this food is genuine and authentic. The pizzas were amazing - $20 for the family size pizza (13.5inch), $16 for the large (12inch) and $11 for small (9inch). They also offer free delivery for orders over $20. There are mid-weeks specials too. Tuesday & Wednesday it's 2 large pizzas for $26, and Tuesday through to Thursday, if you spend more than $30 you receive a free small focacia. For the sweet tooth, there's imported Italian Gelati and home-made Tiramisu!

Try to remember the last time you ordered pizza that didn't have that dark, oily grease stain on the bottom of the pizza box? Our pizza boxes were remarkably void of this and I'm not surprised. The two pizzas we ordered (Pesto Lamb and Tasty Bill) were the least greasy pizzas I've ever had. I'm not kidding! The fresh ingredients and simple flavours don't come close to the delight I felt discovering not only do they offer gluten free bases but they actually taste akin to standard pizza bases. I've heard mixed reviewers of Two Sisters Pizza from friends but me personally? I'm a fan. While you'll pay a little more than a regular pizza chain I still consider them to be resonably priced. Better still I can keep my stomach from writing me hate mail by choosing a gluten-free option and above all else the pizzas taste great. Plus the friendly staff don't go astray.

You'll get leg ham, bacon, pepperoni, cabanossi, prawns, mushroom, green capsicum, red onion, kalamata olives, oregano all on one pizza! I would have to say the seafood menu is the pick of the lot. Your standard meat eaters menu is strong, and vegetarians won't suffer either, but the seafood menu is where it's at. I like to rip into the Chilli Prawn which is nothing more than prawns, basil, chilli, and parmesan, and ever so yum. I don't know I feel about dessert pizza, but you can try it on for size here. The pizzas come in small ($15), medium ($18), and large ($21). If you're feeling like pizza, go support this family run business. They're good at what they do, and they're miles better than more main stream pizza chains.

The pizza crust is the perfect thickness, and has a nice crunch, but isn't over baked. Since I'm not a big fan of deep dish pizza and lots of tomato sauce on my pizza anyway, this is the perfect place for me! Oh, and they're very generous with the toppings! They have a "lunch special" where any small pizza from two of their select menus comes with a free drink for the price of just a pizza, and it's not a bad deal! I got the vegetarian pizza and a can soda for just $10, but some of their other menu items tend to be a little pricier, especially for a "fast food-y" place like T4. Upsides are that T4 is open past lunchtime (past 2pm) and right in the hustle bustle of Toowong - but a downside is that they are cash only. But hey, they're good enough for me to return to.

And the prices are pretty reasonable for the portions, $11 will fill two people up nicely. And kudos for whoever came up with the names for the pizzas, I do love me a slice of Astro Boy. That said, I'll eat the pizza because I am sick of chain store pizzas and the price at T4 is right. But I'll stay for the dessert pizza. YES, DESSERT PIZZA! This is why I'm giving T4 3.5 stars rather than 3 (although we don't do half marks here at Yelp). The dessert pizzas are GOOD. Chocolate and banana, strawberry and chocolate, the dessert pizzas are what makes this place 'okay' to 'YES.' The staff are friendly, albeit somewhat depressed at times. But I think that has something to do with getting mixed reviews online. For the record, this is a positive review! T4 also offers pasta, but just check out one of the dozen Italian restaurants if you're having a creamy carb craving. Stick to the pizza. The feature point leather-wrapped espresso machine, tiled counter, coffee bean sack wall and exposed brickwork from the factory that was previously on the site, all add to the curiosity and inviting nature of the bakehouse. There is no food menu as the dishes change daily and choices are made off what it available in the glass displays cabinets. Options typically include sandwiches, wraps, pies, pasties, sausage rolls and salads. There is also a selection of cakes and pastries for the sweet tooths. Lunch on this visit was a curried lamb pie, a beef sausage roll and an orange and pear juice. Served with a side of salad in cute metal school camp-style plates, the pastry on the pie and sausage roll instantly highlighted their freshly baked nature. Flakey and crunchy in the outside, slightly soft on the inside, it was perfection. The juice was also freshly squeezed and served in a quaint glass jar. Tucked away in the Logan Road precinct of Woollongabba, The Baker's Arms is a must visit for those in search of some fine baking.

The crust bubbled up in a way that was almost, dare I say, American.
