My three favourites: * Pepperoni Pleasure - a rich tomato base smothered in layers of mild pepperoni and topped with gooey mozzarella cheese. * Munchy Mushroom - layers and layers and layers of fresh mushrooms, shaved leg ham and mozzarella cheese (sooooo goood)! * Bolognaise Special - A match made in heaven - Spaghetti Bolognaise meets pizza! The pizza base is covered with a rich bolognaise sauce, fresh mushrooms, onion and topped with mozzarella cheese. This restaurant is BYO so grab a bottle of your favourite vino and spoil yourself!

So when the time came and I had a hankering for a pizza, I gave the guys at Pizza Emporium a test run. It was a Thursday night and my wife and I checked their website to see what they had on offer. Scanning the prices, we knew that being a gourmet pizza establishment Emporium would be a little more on the pricey side. However we we're happy to see that the cost wasn't too rich. We placed our order and were told that because we had spent over $20 we were going to receive free, a garlic bread and 1.25L drink. Happy days. We were told it would take about twenty minutes for our meal to be ready. When we arrived a few minutes early, we were delighted to find out that our pizzas were there ready for pick up. When we got home, the meal was outstanding, the layers on the pies were fresh and generous and the taste was absolutely mind blowing. Considering we both decided on a medium sized pizza we were contented to feel very full without finishing the meals and saved some for lunch the next day.

Using Merlo beans & Vitasoy cafe soy milk I've found my coffees to be mellow and creamy but very pleasant to my palate for a first coffee of the day. I'm still seeking the ultimate coffee north side of the city but in the meanwhile I'm happy to head down the hill to support this small business and satisfy my daily caffeine needs.

I've gone back enough times to see if it was just a 'bad coffee' with my 17 check-ins. The last 5 coffees have not been what they 'were'. I will only go back for an emergency caffeine fix. Their bases are way better than any chain pizza hands down! Gluten free options too. Different size pizzas available including a giant party pizza which friends of ours said fed their entire family! The staff are friendly and always up for conversation when we pick up our pizza. Delivery is available too. Yet to try their dessert menu and Gelato options but they look delicious.
