I love Pizzaland!…read more Family owned and operated in their 39th year of cheese, sauce and dough. The pizza are very Australian with thick fluffy bases smothered with a slew of ingredients. They offer free garlic, chilli, jalapeños, ginger, BBQ sauce, sweet chill sauce, hot chilli sauce or pizza herbs on any pizza - I love this. Extra chilli and garlic for the win guys! My to-be brother in-law is allergic to dairy & eggs, Pizzaland make him a cheese free pizza without any of the fuss you'd get at other places. Even without cheese the pizza is still tops. My no.1 orders are 'Pizza Orgy' (I guess that's what happens inside your mouth with every bite) and American Deluxe, though I am dying to try The Continental - or to be more honest haven't found anyone to give it a go with me yet - which sports some ye old timey pizza toppers (I'm talking mashed potato and bread n butter cucumbers old timey!). Phone ahead as the pizza's are made to order with a normal wait of 20-25mins. Gluten friendly pizzas also available. Rad!

Top notch suburban take away pizza joint, it's really local, right down to the fly screen door and…read morethe two silver fox gents behind the laminex counter, they make pizza, they've made pizza for 39 years, they own pizza. They are lovely and efficient and make pizza so good you'll think about it for days after. This place is a real gem, with a diverse but not over whelming menu, old favourites done right and some new ideas like the Continental, bacon, smoked cabana, mashed potato and bread and butter cucumbers, I know right! But it totally works. Try it out. Get a half and half, go on, it's very good. Once the Pizzaland creations l hit my mouth, all memories of insipid, overpriced faux Tandoori 'pizzas' on cardboard from 'gourmet pizza' places were erased from my mind. I will never buy a pizza from a major chain again. I am only interested in pizza from pizza land. Pizzaland is flight of the concords, and I'm Mel. Pizzaland is affordable, tasty, and with very quick take away ordering, this place ticks all the boxes. I love Pizzaland! Get a takeaway pizza and go eat it on roller-skates to impress a boy you like.

I ordered a three pizza takeout deal. I find the result quite typical of pizzas in this area. All…read morethree had a very thin crust, and were oddly small for large pizzas, each one being a decent meal for one person. The boxes were larger than the pizzas for some reason. As is also typically the case, the pizza gets better as you move upward. The toppings were intriguing, particularly their unique "Nepal" pizza, with pumpkin, artichoke, and spices, among other vegetables. Their funghi, a white pizza with mushrooms was a tad bland; I want to taste more than just the mushrooms. The margherita was pleasant enough if not special (and pretty pricey). The place is basically a takeout window of a larger restaurant, and they were quick in preparation. All told, it was satisfying, moreso than some big chain place would have been, but I don't know if I'd go to any great trouble to return.

Rather than just go with the obvious, Pizza Hut, Dominos etc, we decided to quickly browse the internet to see which Restaurants/Cafes near us, offered good authentic italian. We found Piccolo was consistently well reviewed, and scored 96% on tripadvisor. So we gave it a go. Ordered the Manhattan Supreme Pizza, and the Puttanesca Pasta. When we arrived in Camp Hill, we were surprised to find that it wasn't only a a take-away, but also a restaurant with beautiful decor & nice atmosphere. From the number of people we saw, they appear to be popular! A nice option to have in the suburbs. We made a mental note to have to try dinner here one night. The take-away pizza is located to the side of the restaurant, a little hole in the wall. The young girl behind the counter was friendly, and our pizza & pasta was ready in a short time. Great service. Although the Manhattan is a little pricey at $24, it is absolutely worth it! Full of flavor, pepperoni, capsicum, ham, pineapple, mushrooms, olives blending perfectly to produce an explosion of yum! We've been to Italy in Sorrento, and swore they had the best pizzas, but Piccolo absolutely proved that their pizza is bite after bite as delicious, if not better! The Puttanesca, similarly flavoursome! Garlic, Chilli, Capers, anchovys, tomato & olive, simple ingredients, combining for maximum taste! Normally, I like pastas with meat, but the Puttanesca was absolutely delicious. Excelllent take-away experience, and good value for the beautiful flavours we experienced. We will definitely come back, we don't need convincing, and look forward to a dine-in experience.
