We're so happy we found Marco at Schnauserei! Marco was immediately warm and welcoming and had closed down the restaurant for our private class. What a first class experience we had as a result! When we arrived he had a selection of local meats and cheeses he acquired while hiking earlier in the day (so thoughtful) and a great wine selection. Everything was authentic and local to the area which is exactly what we were looking for! We were able to make traditional Swiss food like Chnöpfli - complete with salad and chocolate cake! The meal was incredible but most of all was Marco's hospitality and the setting. There was so much thought and care that went into Marco's restaurant and you feel like you're enjoying an evening of cooking at a dear friend's place. We felt right at home. We will definitely be back when we're in Switzerland to enjoy not only another cooking class, but a meal or two at his restaurant - and are definitely looking forward to the fondue cave he's working on!
