I want to start by saying I would leave 0 stars if possible. I placed my order over the phone I had ordered a baked ziti with garlic knots. after not eating all day due to being sick I finally worked up a slight appetite and me and my boyfriend were going to share. We talked about it on the way over to pick up the food. When we arrived I sent my boyfriend in to pay for and grab the food . he came back to the car saying the guy said I ordered a Philly cheese streak and not baked ziti. I went inside and explained to them that's not what I ordered. the guy proceeded to then tell me that I did order a Philly cheese steak , even though the young lady (cashier) had taken my order. I was not upset at the cashier , but I explained to the man that I know I didnt order a Philly cheesesteak and my boyfriend had overheard me placing the order. The man in the back then said that I could either order the ziti (and pay for it) or just take the sandwich and leave . Mind you he had already took $17 for the Philly and garlic knots. I originally just asked to replace the sandwich (untouched unopened) with the ziti and he refused . I asked for a refund and was denied . I explained to the man that I work very hard for my money , and what would happen if I was allergic to the sandwich and he said I could just give it away or throw it away. He was being greedy and just completely unprofessional. He was a white man with dark hair and beard. the stupid lady in the back ( not the cashier) was also being ignorant and quite frankly annoying as well. I've order delivery from here twice. Very good pizza. Comparable prices. The first time I ordered, this pizza was delivered in perfect condition before I expected it to arrive. This time, the delivery driver showed up 15 minutes later than I expected and the pizza was all wadded up in a pile on one side of the box. The driver was giving a lame excuse about going to the wrong hotel. But, getting food delivered is a crapshoot. Overall, really good food at a decent price. read more

Not many places deliver to me. I chose them at first because they deliver to Smithfield, but came to find that the food is great and a good price. The wings are great, even hot and crispy after delivery. I regularly order the meatball subs and cheesesteaks. Also, I'm a huge fan of the chicken Caesar salads - very fresh vegetables and the lettuce is crisp. Haven't tried any pizza yes, but everything that I've had has been wonderful. On occasion the delivery has taken a good while, but most of the time it's very prompt. read more

Not a lot of options in Selma any longer. Went to Pizza Xpress for lunch today and ordered two sandwiches. Both were made from scratch, well prepared and tasted delicious! The gentleman working there was super kind and organized. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town and looking for lunch. Will visit here again the next time I am in Selma. read more

I placed an order for 20 Mild Buffalo Wings and the delivery was both speedy and courteous. That being said, the wings were large, dry, and not very flavorful. However, the Ranch Dipping Sauce was quite excellent, and that is a very good thing, otherwise the wings would be inedible. Pizza Xpress needs to rethink its Buffalo Wing preparation if they want to compete with the likes of Dominos. Make your wings moister and more delectable, then you will have a winner. read more

We have order from them before never have issues with them but tonight's we had issues with our order we spent just over $100 our order mess up and all they can offer 10% off on next order no thank as a customer who has orders several times from them and each time my orders have ran anywhere from 75 to over $100 for I have a large family I believe they could have done better than 10% even just offering two large pizzas on our next order is better than 10% but they were not even willing to do that or even talk about it when they had messed up our whole order in our order consisted of two large pizzas with two toppings Which is part of one of their deals and we asked for the two toppings to be extra cheese and extra pepperoni which they only put extra cheese on it in that the extra pepperoni and then we ordered the two small Stromboli's which was another deal they had Both of them were supposed to be steak and cheese one of them was supposed to have spinach on it and the other one was supposed to have extra mushrooms on them neither one of them had the extra itemsAnd when I asked to speak with the manager he told me I was speaking with him he is the brother-in-law to the owner and when I asked when the owner was going to be there he told me he won't be in till Sunday and it wouldn't matter what I said after he told the owner What he had heard even though he did not take the order or anything he was only standing by the woman they took the order and he claims that she read the order back he was very rude and unprofessionally like Like I said before we've never really had a problem before in the past and for the amount that we spend when we place our orders we expect the company to be more professional like and handle business like professionals it's really sad because they have awesome food that they would treat their customers this way read more

I can't thank Pizza Xpress enough. Lamell is the bomb! What a polite, caring and hard working guy he is! I wanted to have a surprise dinner delivered to a friend whose husband just had surgery and he went out of his way to make it happen. He deserves a big pat on the back, not to mention a raise!
