My husband and I decided to finally stop in Pizza Village V for lunch. We were surprised to see such a nice place. You order at the counter which is fine by us. Hubby ordered a cheese steak hoagie and I ordered a cold Italian hoagie. Cheese steak was pleasantly and plumply filled and the Italian had a variety of very tasty and fresh meats. Staff is very courteous and accommodating. I phoned in a pickup order using an outdated menu. I realized I had ordered the wrong hoagies when I was paying. I mentioned to cashier that I ordered the wrong items. I was willing to take the food since it was my ordering error, Owner came over and said they would make up the hoagies I wanted. First the good, my husband had a steak sandwich and said it was good. I had probably one of the most disgusting meals I have had in a very long time. I had the Lemon Chicken. It is supposed to be chicken breast sautéed in lemon garlic sauce over spaghetti. The only good thing about this dish was the spaghetti. The chicken looked like it was boiled; instead of sautéed on each side. It looked and tasted gross. The lemon sauce was horrible. I looked like the sauce might have come out of can. It had an over-powering lemon flavor and it had a very unpleasant lemon flavor. There should have been chicken stock with this and it should have been a light sauce. Instead, it was all lemon and kind of slimy looking. Again, it was gross. I ate half the meal and could not stomach the remainder. Two days after we ate there, my husband decided to try their pizza. Again, not a good experience. The pizza dough had no flavor, the red sauce was not that good, and the pizza had so much cheese on it, when we opened the box about a quarter of the cheese has slide off the pizza. The pizza was swimming in grease because to much cheese was used on this pizza. Can you have too much cheese? Yes, you can. It makes the pizza mushy and a very greasy pizza. This pizza was not good in any way. We will not be returning to this restaurant. read more

I usually get their cheese steak Stromboli because they're delicious and very reasonably priced. Having ordered one the other day I must say I was very disappointed. It seems they had a significant price increase and the meat in this Stromboli was overcooked, dry and tasted somewhat burnt. Great job on the remodel but the food is disappointing. Had lunch on day two, chicken cheese steak and a slice. Both were extremely greasy and the pizza was boring. Today we tried it again with the hopes they were having an off day and again they missed the mark. We ordered a chicken cheese steak, regular cheese steak and one plain slice. Both steaks were very greasy which was all you could taste. Very little meat on either and the regular steak was burned. Cheese on both was a slice thrown on the bottom of the role and wasn't even melted. The pizza slice was really greasy, almost equal to a pepperoni slice. The pizza really has no flavor and again doesn't stand out at all. The valley has many great choices for pizza shops unfortunately this place misses the mark. I live a mile away and have no plans on coming back. read more

The restaurant looks crummy on the outside, looks even crummier on the inside, and the people taking your order are nice but look absolutely miserable to be working there. But the pizza is good, just plain old cheese pizza, but it's good and fresh. If there were more options in the area I don't think this place would survive because it looks like it hasn't been updated in 30 years. But the other reviews make me want to try the cheesesteaks now and I work close to here and always seem to be coming back. read more

Our favorite "thin" slice pizza parlor. Seldom busy, most business is take out. We usually order a medium double cut with one half topping for me, my wife likes it plain. Only drawback, if you are over 250 lbs you WILL NOT fit in their booths, tables in the rear, 3rd dining area. Personnel are helpful, all credit cards except American Express.
