Getting a manager that knows how to deal with your customers!! Probably should be out of diapers before you have them with a management position, or at least be taught how to have customer service! Passing through and found this place on the Internet. The tired building definitely needs attention, along with a good scrub. The salad bar was pretty fresh with a good amount of toppings. The pizza has been sitting on the bar for a while and was not fresh but it could have been due to the time we stopped in, around 1:45 in the afternoon. But the place was full of flies, annoying, nasty flies. This doesn't sit well especially with buffets and food sitting out. If you're in a rush and don't care about atmosphere then you might be ok. Ordered over the phone from this establishment. While waiting in drive through after being told sorry for the wait we are just waiting on your pizza. We notice the car that was previously in front of my vehicle in drive thru. Come back and carrying items that resembled the items I ordered. Then my order appears instantly. I asked if the food was just returned and if my pizza just came out the oven why isn't it hot. I was lied to by cashier saying it wasn't returned. THEIR RANCH IS AMAZING like I've always wanted the recipe or way to purchase it in bulk. This was place was alright. Personally, I prefer the Pizza Village in Beulaville much more so than the one here. They had very little sauce on their pizza and to me their cheese was just not it. I was very disappointed with the lack of options that they had in their buffet. They had four desert pizzas, which by the way the only one that was decent was the chocolate chip. Personally, the straight chocolate to me was nasty... besides those four, they had two that were pepperoni one that was cheese and two that looked like they were supposed to be supreme maybe? I'm really not sure, but they had absolutely no veggie options other than cheese. This was very disheartening for me and my wife. The table that we were sat at was also quite sticky and the service was rather poor, I was practically dying of thirst without getting any refills after my first one. And it was not like they were super busy, relatively no one there other than my party. I was also quite disgusted with the male bathroom. I cannot believe any type of family friendly restaurant allows their to be no stalls between urinals. That is quite repulsive to me. I understand it is an older building, but you can add in some updated technology! I was just baffled with the lack of privacy. There was also no door to the bathroom, which isn't the worst but I still had an issue with this. However, their saving grace was the game room and the pizza was still better than say Pizza Hut. They also had a really nice salad bar, I would even go to say that I believe their salads are much better than their pizza and they should consider to rename themselves "salad village". Do NOT come here. The service is absolutely horrible. The waitress LOST our order then approached us 20 minutes later to tell us so we ordered again. Then they made it wrong. We asked for it to be remade. The waited said it would be 7 minutes and we would not have to pay for it. 25 minutes later we ask and she says we told her we didn't want it. Ummm.... what? Why would you tell us how long it was going to take if we had said we didn't want it AND tell us there was no charge. The bartender delivered the pizza and told us not to be rude to his staff. While in town on business, we stopped here for a quick lunch. I am not normally a fan of buffets, but theirs was pretty good. They had a number of pizzas out and kept bringing out fresh. Unfortunately, they didn't have a selection of non-meat eater pizza. On my visit, there there was only 1 cheese pizza and not one with just veggies. Sadly, the only "veggie" pizza I saw also had some sort of meat on it. :-( I am also not a big fan of salad bars - many times I find salad bars to be a little icky... but theirs had fresh lettuce and a good selection of fruits, veggies, cheese, dressings, etc. So, that was a real plus. I almost always have a great experience here. I visit here at least once a month. A few months ago I had a great experience with a young lady name Mia, I don't even know if she still works here but hey I try to give credit where it is due. On this particular occasion my waitresses were Brooke and Jennifer. Brooke is a trainee and she did an exceptional job. She was extremely friendly and very attentive to my needs. For everything that Goldsboro and Mount Olive does wrong, Pizza Village does it right. They have delicious pizza (and desert pizza, try it out!). Their salad bar is always kept fresh and has a lot of options for those of us who like to put everything but the kitchen sink on our salads. The decor isn't fancy, but I think its cute. They have a little room in the back with a few games for the kids, with a claw machine up front. The waitresses/cooks are typically students from the near by highschool, and they do a decent job. You can call ahead and pick up your pizza, but they do not deliver (unless they've changed since I've moved!). read more

Came here during the week for a lunch buffet, was $8 before tip. The atmosphere was nice clean and facility well maintained. Staff were competent and respectful. The pizza was ok,(I have high expectations) but i enjoyed it for the all you can eat price. There is one center hot station as they bring out 6-8 at a time and then have four dessert pizzas (Apple, cherry, chocolate chip, and chocolate). All are ok except for chocolate chip, taste is not worker calories. There is also a salad bar, some garlic nuts, and spaghetti available for lunch buffet. It was a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. Very family-friendly! The buffet was continuously refilled with sausage, pepperoni, the works, etc, and four different kinds of dessert pizzas. They had a salad bar and spaghetti also. The pizza was thin crust with a cracker crisp crust. They had a game room with air hockey and video games. As we were given the bill noticed that the price was not the same. Called for the waitress's to ask About the bill. We were advised that the menu was for the collage student and senior and fire department , we then ask if they give military discount .
