The Hidden Gem of Martin County
For years, those of us from the area--as well as family, friends, etc--have treasured the fantastic food you can get at Pizza Stop. The menu is impressive with all sorts of items you may not associate with the business so be sure and give it a look. In my opinion and most of those I know, Pizza Stop's pizzas are second-to-none; as is the case with pretty much everything they offer on their menu.
Service is always very friendly, patient, and VERY rarely are there any issue with the order. If they are, Abe has always been one to make sure that the food is up to the standards we have all come to know and love. I've had friends from as far away as California ask for some Pizza Stop pizza and their steak sandwiches whenever venturing out; that's in addition to Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, Virginia, and so on which are also locations I've personally known people to request Pizza Stop from when meeting up or venturing toward their area.
When it comes to the establishment, it's tiny, quaint, and has an old-fashioned feel to it that maintains the essence that Pizza Stop has always been, but for me and mine, we miss the pinball machines, the pool table, the arcade games they had, and the other small intangibles that really made it feel like the teenage hangout it was in the 90s.
I've been to many places and I've experienced some very good pizza in my day, but if I have my druthers regarding the pizza place we'll be ordering from, it will always be Pizza Stop.
