The place was quiet and not busy. Once seated, a timid young woman came to our table to take drink orders. This location has never had Coke Zero and we can't stand diet. Today, we were informed by the server that they had Coke Zero. Awesome! Not. It was diet. Confirmed by another staff person. They do not serve Coke Zero. There were two other tables being served in the restaurant. Both had four people. Not at all busy. I had ordered a water along with the fake Coke Zero. Had to ask three times for said water before it finally made its way to the table. Same with refills. Finally stood up when the server passed by and handed her the glass. She responded as tho we had never asked. Ordering was a process. Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich for my aunt. Was informed they were out of bread. So she had the wrap. I asked to add Italian sauce to the sandwich. You would have thought I was speaking a different language. So I waited while she wrote. Didn't want to confuse more. She finally looks up at me, and with frustration, spins her fingers as a wheel would turn. I looked at her trying to figure out what she meant and she said "go ahead! Order!" Sheesh! So I ordered boneless wings for my mom and an extra large Raphael BBQ chicken pizza, substituting jalapeños for the bell peppers. Had a coupon for free breadsticks and showed that to the server. She said she didn't know anything about that. Didn't take the code, didn't offer to ask the manager. Just... went on about her way. We had the manager remove it. She did so gladly. We arrived at 11:05. We ate as soon as the food came. We did not leave until 12:43. Pizza was not cut. Drink refills were not timely (other tables asked and immediately received), and lack of knowledge of the menu by the server was non existent. I've worked in restaurants. Front house and back. I know it can be stressful. There was no need for that today. Training needs to take place asap. As much as we love the pizza... it'll be a LONG time before I even consider visiting this location again.
