Pizza Steak Sub
Marty S.

Cool little pizza joint. The food is reasonably priced, considering the portion sizes. The staff is VERY friendly and attentive. The tables and floors are spotless, and there isn't much annoying clutter. We'll definitely come back!

Ordered for delivery with specific instructions for the sub. They were all ignored. Was supposed to be provolone, extra mayo, ketchup, onions and without green peppers. Also ordered the salmon rice bowl and that was correct, and very good. If you want a good rice bowl, I do suggest here. Pizza is also good. But the fact that the instructions for the sub were ignored is upsetting because im allergic to green peppers. So was unable to even eat it.

Pepperoni pizza

Best pizza ever! My work ordered it, and the moment I took a bite, I knew I was in for something special. The crust is perfectly crispy yet soft inside, the toppings are fresh and full of flavor, and the cheese just melts in your mouth. Every bite feels like pure comfort. The aroma alone fills the room and makes you crave more! I'm so excited they deliver to my apartment too--imagine cozy nights in, a movie playing, and this amazing pizza right there with me. Definitely my new go-to for pizza nights. Can't wait to order again!

Passed by this place many times but did not go in. That is until a friend bragged know how much she loved their pizza. We had to give it a try. We went in on a weekday afternoon and after looking at the menu and watching a few customers gobble up their pizza, we ordered. My husband ordered the Italian cold cut sub, it was huge and fresh, he thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, a medium. The crust totally surprised me, it was moist and soft from the center to the edge of the crust. It was really good, plenty of pepperoni, and the sauce has a slight sweetness to it. All in all, it worked. It's just delicious. I would have tried the thin crust pizza, but did not see that on the menu. It was probably an oversight on my part. The young lady said they do make them, so next time, I'll be ready to order that. Our cashier/server, Nancy, could not have been more pleasant and informative . What amazed me was that while we were eating lunch, they had an order for 52 pizzas. They do a huge carryout business. We will be back, plenty of free parking.

Pistachio Baklava

Good carry out food. I my ate here once before and it was good. Krabby fries were baked right. Good amount of crab dip

Great food, great service always. They have some of the best cheesesteaks even though the pizza is a good choice too.

I was hoping to park on the street to run in but ended up driving around for 10+ minutes before ending up in the lot. Turns out my parking was free so it worked out just fine. For the food, I got the cheese pizza with prosciutto and the mango habanero wings. The pizza was fantastic, and I really liked that you can order a half portion which was great for 2 people. The crust was crispy, and the cheese and sauce were great, and it was packed with prosciutto. The wings were also great, I loved the sauce and the sesame seeds on some of them which was a fun twist.

Parking anywhere downtown especially the inner harbor on the street is very limited; and the parking garages are insane at times. I found parking and made way to this establishment at the Power Plant. There was a Flippino festival going on at Power Plant as well. When we entered the establishment, we were immediately seated. Seating is only at high tops or the bar. We started off with a couple drinks, old bay wings and cheesesteak sliders. The drinks were ok, not 5 star rating. The cheesesteak sliders were okay as well. We ordered Old bay fries which came out great. After digesting the wings, sliders and fries we ordered the Peppers and Onions pizza with added spinach. The pizza came out very light. Ive had this pizza previously and it was toasted and not doughy. There was very little cheese. The pizza disappointed. So after all, I was very disappointed with the choice of this establishment today. Absolutely nothing but the friendly attentive staff was a plus. The staff were beyond attentive. It could be a bad day but definitely not good since I havent been here in about 3 plus years. The prices has increased tremendously as well. I wouldnt say not to go but based on today, I would be skeptical to return again for myself in the future.

They were busy behind the counter, or the kitchen area, and it was noisy, lots of cooking tools clanking. I guess this is in response to many take out orders. The dining room is small with a few tables and chairs, it did not take long to fill up. When you enter, they have take out menus with combo specials in the centerfold... some good deals. And over the counter, hung from the ceiling are also specials on a chalk board, which is what we chose from My husband ordered the Italian cold cut sub, no hot meats . This came with a plastic glass for self-serve Coke products. No free refills, though. It was a typical sub, fresh and up to par. I ordered the much praised cheesesteak sub with raw onions and asked them to toast the roll. Our orders took all of 20 min. My sub needed something, I could not figure out exactly what. The sub was barely warm. The meat was good , the red onions were chopped (not many), and the cheese was a scant slice of American at the base of the roll. I was disappointed! Who serves American cheese on a cheese steak sub? The owner said they make it that way unless you specify otherwise (I wish I knew that when ordering). Next time, I have to give it to them. It was overstuffed. They do one heck of a carryout business. The owners were very friendly.

In we go, and there is indeed a pizza/sub/pasta store there in the same building, just to the left as you enter the door. On the counter, there is a list of daily specials (M-F). My friend recommended the Honey Old Bay wings. 8/$9.99, of course I missed the special day! They came out nice and hot, dripping with that honey gooey goodness, and there were 9! The aroma filled my world. Hubby got the standby: Italian cold cub sub, no hots. It was a wet sub from Italian dressing, which was perfect for him. The bread was fresh, probably made in-house. His sub came with a generous amount of French fries. They were the coated ones, and they gave plenty of ketchup packets. Also included was a 20-oz bottled drink. This was the Monday special. A young lady came in and picked up her large cheese pizza while we were waiting for our order. I asked her how the pizzas were, and she said they make really good pizzas here. We are not much in favor of eating in the car or carryout to eat at home, so we opted to eat in the mini-indoor courtyard at Yia Yia's. It was nice. If you have room, loads of desserts a few steps away. And yes, well, be back.

The space itself is small but homey, which I liked. It's a little bit of a tight fit for everyone in there but it works. The service overall was great. The chef came over and greeted us, and even checked in later, and we had a great conversation with their somm. The food was fantastic! The pasta's and pizzas were both unique and delightful. We split a ceasar salad, meatballs, the greek pizza, a sausage pizza, and two speciality pastas- a cacio e pere (pear), and another one that I can't pronounce in italian but was a very thin lasagna like noodle with meats/spices inside. We also split one of their desserts, which i really liked. Shout out to the hazelnut gelato which was particularly delicious. I will absolutely return!

There was a curtain, but it was pulled back. The market stuff is still there and the outside of the building is pretty dark. I wish they had played up the speakeasy part more, but they made up for it in service, food, and drink. We were seated quickly. There were only a few tables left and we felt lucky to grab one. Our waiter came quickly and we immediately ordered the drink special, a butternut squash old fashioned. It was amazing and the bartender came out and told us how he made it. I volunteered to be taster for future creations. I don't know if he will take me up on it. We ordered the Plum and Burrata Salad, Fristo misto, and a Goat pizza. The salad was so good. I could have had it as a meal. It had a generous amount of plums, barrata and prosciutto. The pizza had a perfect hand tossed crust. The toppings were also great. I should have asked for some red pepper flakes but that was my fault. The Frito misto was not my favorite. The breading seemed fresh which is good. I liked the shrimp better than the calamari. We didn't get to try dessert because we were about to explode. I can't wait to go back and explore more on the menu.
