We stopped for a weekend adventure and decided to eat here. Very neat place with cowboy decor. Everyone very nice and ready to serve. We have a person in our party that cannot do red sauce and they were very pleased to serve him a white pizza of his choosing for the buffet. Cheesy Ranch Stix are amazing and better fresh guaranteed you will get a good cheese pull. And the Fried Chicken it's the best it's so crunchy on the outside on the inside it's so tender and chewy but not to chewy. The dessert pizzas are delicioso and so good you just can't describe it. Complete shitshow tonight. We booked the event room for a kids bday party. Get there and they double booked it for the same time. We were able to wait a little longer for a corner to clear out and set up back there. Once it was time for everyone to eat, there was only 2 slices of pizza and cheese sticks without sauce. When pizza did come out, NOTHING was labeled so we didn't know what was what. Then there was NO silverware. We had to ask each time something was missing to get it stocked. Men's urinal was overflowing with each flush and floors were flooded. Only a wet floor sign was put out when the whole room should be locked and marked out of order. At first, I thought they had mopped the floor but when I went to flush, the water kept filling up and piss water from me and what looked like 3 other people that didn't flush prior to me spilled all over my feet which is not healthy in ANY way. Not to mention my new shoes got destroyed by what is basically equal to 3 guys pissing in them. They will be going in the garbage and I will find out where to send the bill. read more

We ate at the Pizza Ranch in Newton today. We were there about 330pm. I only wanted the salad bar, and I should have checked it before paying. It was extremely bare. There was no regular lettuce, and no protein options. The egg, chicken, olive, and pickle dishes were empty. They have three bottles of ranch and all were empty as well. I mentioned the dressing and the lady said she had to refill, and they were done 25 minutes later. When I asked her about the eggs, she said that they were working on refreshing the salad bar and she would get them as soon as possible. When we left, the eggs, chicken, and olives were still empty. The pizza looked old, my wife ended up eating pepperoni and taking the pepperoni off as it was quite nasty. They also did not ask if there were any pizza that we wanted. When I mentioned the eggs and chicken to a lady, she chuckled at me and said that they were busy, I guess if three tables was busy, then maybe they were. Within 15 minutes of leaving, both my son and I had severe stomach cramps and within 30 minutes, my son was throwing up on the side of the road. It's a Midwest chain. It's a buffet. You'll get full for $8.99. Then you'll regret it. This isn't your typical buffet and the name of the place doesn't say it all. They have a full salad bar as well as a fried chicken, mashed potato's, gravy and bread stick bar. Plus a dessert pizza bar. Gluttonous is the first word that comes to mind. The fried chicken is, believe it or not, pretty good. The pizza is nothing special, but I did like their taco pizza. The most disappointing component was the "salad" portion of of the salad bar. It was, no joke, shredded, iceberg lettuce like what you would see on a taco bell taco. Other than that, there were a fair amount of veggies and a large selection of dressings to choose from. Courteous service. Good pizza and chicken when it's fresh. But often the salad bar is all messy and old/wilted.

My daughter reserved a private party room for her son's 1st Birthday party. Just 10 minutes before our arrival they seated a group of 18 right in the middle of the room we had reserved. We were the pushed into a small corner of the room and half of our group (some of whom traveled more than 3 hours to attend) were forced to be seated in the main dinning room and were not able to participate in most of the party. It was so cramped that the server could not get into the room to serve our food. Management made no apology or concessions, only excuses. My grandpa got food poisoning and we had to call an ambulance would not recommend and DO NOT EAT THE DRESSING that's what made my grandpa sick here is the picture of the ambulance getting him as you can see in the pic it says medic 2 so I'm not messing around he also got hypothermia and it was bad his temp was 90 and the paramedics had to put heat packs which helped so I do not recommend read more

Our family loves this place. We come here every Tuesday that we can for Kids Eat Free night. Kids 10 and under eat free for every paying adult. Our family of four would eat for just a little over $20. They will make you any pizza you ask for. The pizza, chicken, salad bar, everything is great. Try not to show up just before 8pm as that is when the buffet closes and there isn't too much left by that time. read more

I wouldn't even give them one star, first and last time I go there. my husband myself and our two children went for my 7 year olds birthday when we got there immediately my husband told the cashier it was her birthday. I am obsessed with pizza ranch. So so so good!! I know it's just a chain, and it isn't like they have local ingredients or artisan chefs or unique flavor combos, but pizza ranch is straight up awesome every single time, not to mention you get a TON of food for your money! I could eat a million cheesy ranch sticks. And not only is there pizza, there are mashed potatoes and waffle fries and fried chicken... I love the cowboy theme and how pizzas are named as such (prairie pizza just kills me), and the decor - it's so sweet and a little cheesy, which just adds to the charm. Don't even get me started on the cactus bread - I dream about that stuff and count down the days til I can eat it again! Coffee with cactus bread is the perfect ending to a meal here. It's not gourmet food or a fine dining experience by any stretch of the imagination, but it IS a totally fun and delicious and delightfully cheesy restaurant. The pizza is great, the service is average, and the manager has terrible customer service skills. Consistently rude and short with us over the phone, and in person. I was beginning to think it was me, but I don't think so. We rarely get treated this way anywhere else, definitely nowhere else in Newton. We took my daughter here for her birthday party because she loves it. I called about a month in advance to reserve the party room and when we arrived they had tables set up in a corner. When I asked about this I was told that it is common for them to double book the party room and there was already a party in there. We decided to stay because that is what my daughter wanted but everyone, except the guy clearing tables, was rude to us. There were 26 people in my party giving them quite a bit of business. I will not be going back there and I would definitely encourage to look elsewhere for having a party. read more
