The restaurant was completely filthy. We had to ask for tables to be cleaned. Was extremely slim picking for pizza and chicken both. We definitely will not be back, pizza ranch was much better years ago. Could use some updating and a deep clean! read more

Gave it a second chance after a visit about a month ago. Back then it was filthy, men's room in ruins, food was a disaster. Went back Jan1, but it was worse. Carpet and tile were filthy. Food scraps and trash everywhere. Mens room far worse than last time. Soap dispensers still ripped off the wall, no paper towels, and sinks were gross. Dining tables were filthy with food scraps and carpets under them were filthy as well. Tables hadn't been wiped off since who knows? One employee sat and played on his phone the whole time we were there. Chicken was incinerated on the outside and nearly raw inside. No one appeared to be caring for the salad bar or replacing silverware which was empty at several locations. Pizza selection very limited to 2 or 3 partial pizzas. Obviously very poor management cares nothing about service or cleanliness. Scratching this one off the list permanently. read more

Tl;dr: If you rate Pizza Ranch as a buffet, it's 5 stars no question. Pizza Ranch is always a tough one. I think a lot of people go into it with the expectation that they're eating at an old 90s Pizza Hut, or some type of sit down pizza place. Pizza Ranch is not that. It has the hum and buzz that every buffet does, but the one thing I'm always impressed with here is that the food doesn't ever have the look or feel of something that has sat out too long. The pizza itself is quite good, and some varieties they have are down right tasty. The chicken and desert pizzas are all really good as well. Where Pizza Ranch truly shines though, is when you view it compared to other all you can eat places. I haven't ever been to a buffet with a nicer staff (this is specific to the Dilworth location), nor a staff as interested in checking the buffet levels. During my most recent visit, I quite often looked towards the buffet bars where the food is kept, and I almost always saw an employee either checking on things, cleaning up, or bringing out more food. The location was quite busy while I was there, and I never saw a single thing run out for more than a minute or two. Quite impressive. It's not the most amazing pizza you'll ever eat, and I have no idea why you'd got to an all you can eat place and expect that. What it does is deliver good food, decent pricing, and a top-notch buffet experience with pizza and chicken. It's a place I love to bring my family, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Eat here with confidence, especially if it's during peak business hours (lunch, dinner). read more

My family and I showed up for an early dinner, bout 4:30, because we had an activity that was gonna keep us occupied for the rest of the evening. There were two pieces of fried chicken in the tub and they looked pretty dried out, like they had been under the heatlamp for a couple hours. We ate pizza while we waited for them to bring out more chicken and when they did, the guy dumped the chicken right on top of the two pieces that had been sitting out there for hours... I couldn't help but think about whomever was gonna get those two pieces of chicken... by the time they got down to the bottom again, those two pieces of chicken would have been like, 5 or 6 hours old. As a family we love pizza ranch. Our two 2 year old sons eat for free and mom and I get our fill. A family meal out for under $25 for a family of 4. I'm sold. The pizza is good and you can always grab fresh slices as they come out of the kitchen. Not seeing the flavor pizza you want, just ask and they will make it. The salad bar is nice also if that's your thing. Then they have fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and other dinner items if the pizza isn't cutting it. Super nice staff, quick service, and very clean. Yes this is a buffet but they take orders and will provide special pizzas to your table. We went on Kids Night without knowing it and still had space to sit and plentiful options on the bar. We've already been back and will go again. I recommend that you give it a try too. read more

What I wouldn't give to have my money back from this place, the food was okay but my issue was the service. Nobody seemed to want to be there and the food was just running out and it was like nobody was preparing to bring out more food like the best part for me is the cactus bread and there wasn't any for the entirety of our visit and we were there for an hour and a half, only when we were about to leave did they finally bring some but by then everybody in the restaurant that had been waiting swarmed so it was gone quick I just feel like they need better leadership. Usually a pretty good meal. Once in a while if they're busy they don't have much pizza out there. But if you wait patiently you will be pleasantly rewarded. If they don't have what you want just ask him to make it for you. Problem is by the time they bring it out im stuffed with other pizza. Salad bar is good although they start using new squeeze bottles for the dressing- kind of clumsy and kind of gross when it's dripping down the bottle but still good. I wish They would clean the floors though it just gets so gross inside hey it's worth going to though read more

Went in for pizza and chicken wings. . Asked for chicken wings, the cashier said she just put fresh chicken out, there are plenty of wings- there was one wing..45 minutes later they finally brought out fresh chicken... We ordered a special request pizza, we ordered the thin crust it came with regular crust it couldn't have been baked more than melting the cheese.none of the pizzas were cooked. I am not one toeat raw dough...went for a piece of desert pizza, it was so hard we couldn't put a fork through it. We heard other customers complaining about these same things. This place is pretty decent for what it is. Pizza, Salad and chicken buffet. Very much like most other Pizza Ranch places. My only issue with this one, is that the salad bar is sort of bi-polar. Some days it's warm, and some days the salad is frozen inside the bin. We are huge salad eaters, but typically can't eat the salad of the month, or whatever it ends up being because it usually has bacon in it (which we do not eat). This does not effect the rating, however.. The typical iceburg salad mix is served on the opposite side of the salad "special", and it's usually old- browning, literally frozen, or the bin is empty. I wish they would keep up with the salad bar, that's the deal breaker for us on most days that we decide to go out to eat somewhere. It's a bit greasy on occasion, but that's to be expected from pizza ranch in general. Greasy cheese on pizza, and fried chicken. I'm a fan of both, but some days it seems excessive. Too often this location has empty trays on the hot food buffet also.. several times we have been here, and they have no chicken, mashed potatoes, or some of the other "major" parts of the buffet- and they sit empty for some time. They also tend to let their gravy sit for waaaaay too long. They should be putting new gravy out before you have to scrape chunks of gravy out of the bottom of the pan. Yuck. This review is for the delivery side of the house. The food when it arrived was good. The driver called abs said she would be late due to forgetting coleslaw the gentleman who took the order sounded like he was there against his will. Took the lady 45 minutes to go back for the coleslaw finally 2.5 hours later u got most of my order forgetting our drinks. Worst delivery ever I would call back and demand a refund or gift certificates but it's not worth it. read more
