We went for a late lunch expecting the lunch crowd would be over. We were warmly greeted when we walked in and were taken immediately to our table. Only a couple of tables were open, and that worked great for us. We ordered cheese bread to start and continued to review the menu. Selections were quite nice, and we all ended up ordering something different (no one ordered pizza, although they looked delicious). I ordered baked tortellini with a side of meatballs. Also, all of our orders came with a choice of soup or salad. Food came pretty fast and was just as we ordered. Food was so hot that it could burn your mouth. However, that didn't stop us from digging in. The food was really tasty and before you could say it, it was gone. We ate so much that we didn't leave any room for dessert. Our waiter was really good. He checked on us frequently but was not too invasive. Will I return? Definitely:)

I have a gluten intolerance. Pastafina claims to have a gluten-free option for pasta, which I…read moreordered several times. However, I started experiencing symptoms of gluten consumption intermittently some time after I added Pastafina to my rotation of restaurants. I assumed that there must have been some cross contamination somewhere, and double-checked the food in my pantry. When I couldn't figure out the source of the symptoms, I decided to ask Pastafina about their gluten free pasta, just to be sure. When I inquired over the phone as to the ingredients in the gluten free pasta, they told me that the chief ingredient was "durum wheat". Durum wheat is gluten. I thought that the person on the phone must be mistaken, so I showed up in person. The staff brought out a bag of their "gluten free" pasta for me to inspect, and I was appalled to find that there was absolutely nothing gluten free about it. It was regular pasta. I explained this to the staff and found that they had no idea what gluten was, and gave me some vague response along the lines of "this is what they told us to use". I am horrified by the gross negligence exhibited by Pastafina, and will not be returning. I write this review to warn anyone with a gluten allergy of the potential danger.
