I've eaten here in the past, but it's been quite a few years. This visit was disappointing. The employees I interacted with were friendly, but one was kind of an airhead. LOL, no biggie. I got a basic pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni were plentiful & tasty, but very spicy. Be sure to taste one before giving to a child. The main issue was a combination of things. The pizza was VERY skimpy on cheese, and what cheese there was, stopped way short of the edge of the pizza. Like about 2" in one area. Then the pizza was a little over cooked, which dried out some of the little cheese there was, and made the bottom of the crust dark. I know they can do better. read more

Low carb/gluten free pizza!!! As I am on a low-carb/gluten free diet I can not eat regular pizza. I requested that the manager just put the toppings for a mini 49er special on tin foil and bake it. He made the most delicous dish ever! He used a round foil tin and placed a layer of cheese on the bottom. Then he added pepperoni, sausage, bacon and beef. This was topped with more cheese and baked to perfection. He served it with the sauce on the side. It was excellent!!!! read more

Decent pizza. I really liked the crust, didn't care for the sauce. They put plenty of toppings on but not enough cheese in my opinion. Also, I don't think it came out very hot, first bite was not the usual piping hot I am used to. Service was not good at all. Not acknowledged in the slightest when we walked in. We decided to sit down but then saw others walk in and order first. We placed an order, they were out of cups so we had to wait again to get their attention to get one. Even though service was terrible, I will say that I think 3 high school boys were working there total at the time, taking all orders, dine in and on the phone, making and serving all pizzas. Came to town to see the Rail Museum. Looked for a quick bit afterwards and Pizza Plus fit the bill. Staff was friendly, the pizza came quick and was piping hot. Stopped here on a trip from Monterey CA on 3/20/2021 bc most places were closed after 8pm. What a pleasant atmosphere and great customer service. We have just moved to Jamestown from other parts and were a bit concerned that there is only one pizza restaurant here. No worry on this restaurant! They have excellent pizza at great prices. Right in the down town. We have been back several times and it is consistent. As soon as things are bit more normal we will be eating there as they have a great beer selection. read more

But our county is locked down, COVID-19 cases are skyrocketing in our area, and not a single employee was wearing a mask or gloves. Most of the customers were also maskless. We like picking up a pizza here when passing through, but had I known that COVID protocols were not being followed by employees, I wouldn't have given them my business. None of the employees were wearing masks and there were even people at the bar. I ended up asking one of the employees and she said that it was their choice to wear one or not. Not bad ! They had gluten free pizza which was a nice surprise! We ate here from out of town while visiting the polar express. It was cozy and yummy on a cold day and after a long drive. Rating for Food is 5 stars! Awesome pizza, never had such a great tasting pizza before. This review is for the customer service though. I have never ever seen any person being kicked out from a restaurant if they placed the order 15 mins before closing time and were served food at 5 mins before closing time and then being asked to vacate the table when they start to take the first bite. Note that when we placed the order, we were not told that we will have to take it to go. The lady did not have the courtesy to be considerate that we had a baby with us, even if. I want to give Pizza Plus a better review, but after going there many times, I just can't. They have limited options for toppings, and none of them are exciting. Pepperoni, Canadian bacon, beef, onions and bell peppers etc. The most exciting thing is artichoke hearts. Maybe I am biased because I prefer vegetable pizzas, but I think their toppings are pretty generic and basic. I can deal with boring toppings, but they always (always!) manage to mess up my order. Whether it is putting mushrooms all over when I said only on half or over charging me $20, it is never quite right, The last pizza I got literally fell apart at home. The toppings were chopped very tiny and I do not think it was cooked long enough so none of them stayed on top of the pizza. At least the ovens they use cook the crust nicely. The only thing I haven't been disappointed by is their bread sticks with cheese. I need to remember to stop ordering pizza here and stick to what I know works! read more

Great pizza with a traditional bar feel. We ordered the giant "big Jim" pizza without black olives but added chicken breast. We didn't get an extra charge for the chicken because we didn't want the olives, that rarely happens! The service was good and the pizza was great! I've never had a pizza with so many toppings. It was overflowing with the toppings we ordered. I also ordered the small salad bar, it didn't have a ton of add ons for the salad but it was decent. Our total order was $35 with tax and tip. My mom and I come here pretty frequently. Best pizza place in town. Everything tastes fresh and delicious and they don't skimp on the toppings. They have a great salad bar too which we almost always get that has fresh lettuce, potato salad, and other fresh veggies. Yummy sandwiches too. The employees have always been friendly with us as well. My brother lives in San Diego and every time he comes up to visit he always requests to visit this pizza parlor! Only con is that they're closed on Sundays so for Football Sundays you'll have to go somewhere else to get pizza. I believe it's for religious reasons though so it's understandable! read more
