I see all the five star reviews and I'm sure they're accurate and my experience is probably mine own fault. I hate when that happens. They have two count them two choices for crust - thin and thick. Now, in my pizza experience, which is vast, when I hear thin crust it means super thin, like a cracker and I hate that. I like normal pizza crust. So, I ordered thick, thinking it would be normal. Well, like the musical of the same name, it was next to normal. When they say thick they mean THICK and I'm sure there are those who love that, but it's way too thick for me. And most of the four slices were that heel of thick crust. The actual pizza and pepperoni could be eaten in two bites. That part tasted fine, it was just way too much heel for me and not enough pizza real estate. So, I'm thinking that maybe what they call the "thin" crust is normal pizza crust and not like a cracker. If they confirm that I'll be more than happy to try it again and re-review. read more

Wow wow wow!!!! This pizza is so bomb! So fresh! And so delicious! I came in around 6:30 pm. There was no wait no line. The men in here, are super sweet and helpful. The whole place is squeaky clean! I ordered the buffalo pizza, margarita pizza, and pepperoni for my kids. The pizza didn't even make it to my house, we ate everything in the car It was just so good! And the sauces. I got ranch and blue cheese. Omg! Delicious. My kids never eat the crust to their pizza, but they did here cause the bread is so Bomb, you don't want to throw out the crust I'm coming back, to try every pizza on the menu. I've been getting pizza from Pizza Man for over 20 years. They changed owners several years ago, the sauce changed a little and I'm a creature of habit. I wish the current owner wouldn't have changed anything but it's still the best around. I took one star off because they no longer do their own delivery. I been coming to this place now for couple months now and my wife now totally trust this place with her gluten free. They will try there best to prevent contact with gluten. My wife is very allergic and each time we have came here she's brags about of delicious the pizza is for being gluten free and she feels fine the next couple days. The original crust pizza very delicious as well always very hot when I pick them up. Placing a phone order is very easy and there is plenty of parking in the lot. Most recent time I went on 7/29/23 the cook personally brought out the gluten free pizza too me. Very respectful and hard working people. Definitely will be our new go to pizza place. read more

EDITED TO SAY: I began the order that came to over $50 through the Yelp! PizzaMan page. After I ordered a pizza through somebody else I went to the PizzaMan website outside of yelp and the pricing was as it used to be when I last ordered from them. So I am wondering if the up charge has something to do with ordering it through Yelp. I do know that sometimes when you order things through another app prices are higher than if you go right to the source and order it but almost double the price is not just a little bit extra from the regular prices. Also the owner of the Van Nuys branch where I was going to order contacted me through messaging through Yelp! and was very nice, very concerned with my review and wanted to know if he could make it better. But since I didn't actually place the order there was really nothing that he could do other than be very nice and understanding. So I told him that I would edit this review to reflect what I put here as the update. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I ordered a pizza that came to $28 and change and by the time they added all of the extra charges, including an $8.50 tip, it came to $51!!!! $51 for one pizza and an order of fries is beyond absurd!
