The place is in older building but they keep it very clean and tidy. They have many options on the menu but are known for their pizza. They have an 8lb. pizza if you want the challenge. It looks about 4" thick. This trip we each got a small pizza with the toppings we like. I like the meatlovers and my wife likes the works with a lot of toppings. Service was quick and attentive, and the pizza arrived pretty quick. I prefer a thin crust but their crust is a little thicker than that but still very good. All in all very tasty experience. Now, it's mediocre at best. Food is bland and limited choices that never change. We normally spend $75 for 3 people every time we visit...on top of this, they have started charging a credit card fee that amounts to an extra $5 or more on our bill. I'm pretty much done with this place after our last visit and our feet were sticking to the CARPET around the buffet. Yes, I asked how they make they're shakes and I was told they come in a bag, are lactose free, and they just add water! These are not shakes. We had the bacon cheese burgers and could not finish it. No, I wasn't full, but it was absolutely the worst and flatest hamburger I've ever had. Ditto my wife. If the meat is real they need to change vendors. The lettuce was limp and soggy, the buns were not properly cooked, and there was no delineation in tastes. It was just nasty. They had no air conditioning, which I admit could have been a one-off, but they did have a large fan that made it difficult to hear the girl at the counter. My recommendation to management is to get quality ingredients, learn how to properly make a shake, and raise your prices accordingly. I would gladly pay twice what I did for quality food. Price is not the primary criterion.

We haven't been inside to see the seating arrangement however, we called ahead and placed the order and paid over the phone. The salads were LOADED with chicken, burgers were dressed, and corn nuggets were sweet and great. They even gave us extra condiments as we requested and napkins. Half of the fast food restaurants these days don't even get the order right, nor do they give napkins. This is a really good local restaurant that I have zero negative things to say about. We enjoy supporting local businesses and you will not be hungry after finishing your meal. They don't short you on anything. The food is filling and doesn't seem as processed and chalked full of chemicals like most of the fast food restaurants that run the monopoly's that they have. Sometimes it can be hard to find a good local restaurant but that is not the case with Burger Shack. The convenience of the drive through is great especially when you have multiple kids and don't want to get out to run in to pay/pick up your order. I'm sure we will be back relatively soon.
