Had pizza twice watery good both times I would recommend this restaurant for you and your family

It's been a few years since we dined here, but we moved closer and were in town visiting. They have a dollar collection on the walls, on the ceiling, on napkin holders, basically sign or draw on a dollar and hang it up! The place is in older building but they keep it very clean and tidy. They have many options on the menu but are known for their pizza. They have an 8lb. pizza if you want the challenge. It looks about 4" thick. This trip we each got a small pizza with the toppings we like. I like the meatlovers and my wife likes the works with a lot of toppings. Service was quick and attentive, and the pizza arrived pretty quick. I prefer a thin crust but their crust is a little thicker than that but still very good. All in all very tasty experience. It does make 2 meals if you eat half there, and take a to go box for later. Your free tip of the day. read more

A friend recommended Stellian's in Central City, raving about the appetizers, cold beer, and pizza. It is a family friendly bar/ restaurant, with a couple of specialties. They have an 8 pound pizza, yes 8 pounds... since there is no way 2 of us could do that, we opted for the all the meats pizza. The toppings were very generous.... No skimping on this meaty pie!!!! Of note was the delicious sausage... YUM!!! Now, everyone likes different types of pizza crust, I would have preferred a thinner crust, but my husband raved about the hearty " sturdy" crust that didn't break or fold when you ate a slice. Pizza gets a 5/5 for sure!!!!! Now the other specialty is the "Freak Shake"... a social media- worthy concoction that you will not want to skip. Disclaimer..... we had to make a second trip so we could enjoy one!!!!! We got the sinful " Peanut Butter S'more"..... imagine a vanilla/peanut butter flavored milk shake, topped with an entire Hershey Bar, a whole graham cracker, 3 toasted marshmallows , whipped cream, chocolate AND peanut butter drizzle. The take home plastic cup is rimmed with vanilla frosting and rolled in graham cracker crumbs. This concoction from heaven is enough for 3-4 or more people to share!!! We loved this place. Rhe inside has dollar bills pasted all over the walls and ceilings. You can add yours too. They got shirts too and a bar. Note that The 8 lb comes in 3 flavors only: veggie, meat lover and the works. All the same price. I had read it's mostly dough but I dont think that's correct. There was a good amount of filling in our Works. We also got a strawberry cheesecake shake and a chocolate overload shake. Both were yummy. Service was good. Not stellar. But better than any I've had so far in this city. Parking is easy on the street. It wasn't full on a Saturday evening. I alone devoured both shakes and 2 slices before throwing in the towel. My husband and I each got a small pizza I tried the white pizza build your own; I added about 5 toppings and was worried about the price but it was still reasonably priced! The crust and sauce were delicious! The toppings are fresh and no need for extra cheese - it comes with plenty! My hubby loved his meat lovers pizza! This was a take out meal and we will return to dine in! Oh and it was ready in less than 15 minutes! read more

The deep Chicago style pizza is something that is unlike most pizza's around here. You most certainly get your moneys worth for the pizza. They also offer more items such as wings and other things. Stellian's is however known for their deserts that are over the top in the best of ways, and their pizza. Service can be mediocre at times but food seems to make up for it. Traveling through town and looked good. There are dollars over all the walls and ceiling. Order pizza and mozzi bread. Mozzie bread was and entire meal for family. Very good. Pizza was great. Way more four than four could eat. Would definitely come again. read more

Per someone's previous review that this was as good as Chicago deep dish pizza, I tried the 8-pounder myself and totally disagree. Sauce and cheese itself couldn't compare. It was well prepared and not full of dough as someone else eluded to, but not the same flavors as Chicago. read more

The service was very good. We had a real sweet waitress. The fried pickles were thin and pretty tart, I'd rate them average. I had the pepperoni pizza and my husband had the white chicken pizza. We unfortunately don't like the same things and so sharing isn't what we generally do. The pizza was also what I'd rate as average. Drove an hour to get one of their famous 8 pound pizzas and one of their specialty Freak Shakes. I wasn't disappointed. The pizza is HUGE!! It literally weighs the same as a newborn. I didn't eat breakfast that morning and could only eat 1.5 pieces. Pretty freakin awesome. I finished it off with a chocolate shake. OMG. I was so full. This place is incredible. I wish it was closer, but I'll be back. A solid 5 bellies. read more

Amazing milkshakes. Worth the drive for that alone. Pizza is good but not exceptional. We did not try the 8 pound pizza. It did look awesome. Stellian's has a nice ambiance. Prices are reasonable. read more

I heard about this place and the 8 pound pizza and shakes. We drove 30 minutes to check it out. It is a nice little restaurant that definitely cranks out some tasty food!!!! Our waitress was great and made our 3 year old feel at home!!! The pizza was as amazing and the chocolate shake was out of this world. I definitely had to check this place out because of all the hype around the 8 pound pizza and Freak Shakes! The 8 pound pizza was definitely something to marvel, and the wings were flavorful! I typically don't like thick crust pizzas, but the 8 pound pizza had a fairly good balance between crust, sauce, and toppings for being a thicker crust. The Freak Shake had to be my favorite though! I had a whole Nutter Butter, 3 toasted marshmallows, and brownies on my milkshake-- and boy it was delicious! For an every once in a while dive restaurant, this place is pretty good. read more

Ordered a pizza to go from here after hearing good things from friends. Everyone we interacted with was very polite. Since we had never been here before we went with our friends recommendation of the Stellian's special (deep dish pizza). It definitely was tasty. Their website lists no menus so I had to rely on the one from yelp. The prices for the deep dish were much more than the $21.99. It's actually $26 plus $1.50 per item you put in the pizza. So our pizza was $40 definitely something to consider if you are placing a to go order! read more

Everything was just meh-but the hamburgers were great, I have to admit! The kids got a cheeseburger and a pizza burger and both loved them (and the adults agreed they were yummy!) the cheesy bread didn't have much flavor, the pickles were way too salty. We had ordered an additional to-go pizza but the waitress never brought it, even though she acknowledged the order in the beginning. We left most of our food on the table-we had always wanted to go, and at least now we know. One and done for us. read more

It is a small restaurant in a downtown setting. Prepare for there to be a wait for a table, but it is worth it. If you get the Chicago style deep dish pizza it does take 45 minutes to cook it. It is soo good though. It is around an 8lb pizza depending on what you want inside. My husband and I did good to eat one slice each. The bread sticks were amazing and so were the fried pickles. I got the sweet tea to drink and it was good. The milkshakes are so awesome. It is like multiple desserts in one. My husband and I shared the cheesecake one. My brother in law got the s'mores. Both were amazing. All the staff is super friendly and always there to see if you need anything. Very family friendly place. Can't wait to go back again. read more

It's got great food and great service but it's loud and difficult to enjoy the atmosphere. Their 8 pound pizza is my favorite in the county.

I got the large 8 pound special pizza with "The Works". It was a delicious treat from the every day normal pizza from your local, popular named pizza places. I highly recommend giving them a try if you're passing through the area (but allow approx. 45 minutes to cook a pizza this thick). My family went for a special occasion dinner on Monday. We called ahead to confirm hours and Covid restrictions/changes. They confirmed they could seat our party at 2 tables. Our waitress was wonderful with large group. Started with salad and appetizers for table. Small Salad was simple but very fresh. Fried mozzarella cheese and veggies were huge and delicious. Pizza was great. Some of our group loves loves loves pizza. It compared to some top pizza place. We ordered the 8 lb that is the specialty. One piece is enough for a normal appetite. Also a small pepperoni for the younger kids. Novelty Milkshakes come with entire slice of cake as "garnish"!!! This was a long drive for us so not a place we would frequent but was great for something different on birthday celebration. We will go again when we have the chance. read more

Great spot! We were looking for something new to try for my wife's birthday, and boy was this it! We ordered the 8lb Meat Lovers Pizza and it was absolutely delicious. We only made it through 3 pieces so we had plenty of leftovers. Next up was one of their new "Freak Shakes" for dessert. It was over the top and fit the bill perfectly for a special occasion. Overall the food was great and the service was too, especially considering they were packed. We spoke to the owner a bit and she was very friendly and engaging. We will definitely be back. read more

We had been traveling already for almost an hour before we arrived at the restaurant. Was recommended by a friend of ours to try. Unfortunately we came at a dead time and our waitress we started out with i would assume went home. Which is totally fine. I was once a server too, and She was lovely. Food was great. But unfortunately the waitress we were given after her leaving wasnt really pleasant, she was more worried about talking with a regular( i would assume) about her issues with her car and so on. Which i get its fine we are human and have friends, stuff happens. But i felt really unhappy with having to sit there waiting around for her to check on us. There just seemed like a lot of waiting and sitting when we were clearly were ready to pay and leave after sitting inbetween boxing up food and getting a milkshake. We had been there already for an hour and a half so we were ready to go. The red headed waitress (sorry didnt catch a name) that kept checking on us was so pleasant and nice I definitely appreciate her taking her time out of her own tables to try and keep up with us too. There was a lot of hype about this restaurant that I was very excited to try it. Unfortunately it did not live up to that hype. My son ordered the Alfredo and it came out burnt. I would give zero stars if I could! We drove 38 miles for their "famous pizza". Waited 30 min after we ordered and no one came back to explain why it was taking so long. Then I when I went to him he rolled his eyes. Another 5 min goes by and he brings out a completely wrong order. When I told him that wasn't what we ordered he said, "idk what you want me to do about it". Then told us our order would take another 30 min.
