Tonight was my first time visiting Third Place. I don't know why I waited so long as this lovely…read moreestablishment is in my very own hometown. And I have to say that I've been missing out!! The vibe had a very laid back, neighbored feel. You can order your own pizza or take advantage of the pasta, salad, and pizza buffet. I'm not entirely sure why you would order your own pie though...you can pretty much ask for whatever pizza you want and they will make for the buffet!! There were 2-4 pasta options with plum-sized meatballs. The salad bowl was filled with a yummy Italian style mix with my favorite olives (sorry to the guy behind me that had to wait for me to pick out a few or 10 olives). There were 5-6 pizza options. They literally have them sitting on the counter still on the paddle boards straight from the fire wood oven. I'm not sure if the simple pepperoni or figgy piggy was my favorite. Actually, the margarita pizza may have been the best. Whatever you choose...you'll be happy. They also have a bar, live music and can open the large garage-like front walls to create an outdoor patio feel. In the back, you'll find a larger seating area...perfect for a quieter experience or even a private event. We are not done...downstairs is "Table 52" which is another area perfect for private events and a great little bourbon tasting bar. Finally, they have "The Pit", an outdoor space that is literally between the two building and below the Main Street level. Also a great place for private events. So to recap, why did I wait so long to check out this little gem right on Main Street!! It's a great place and I will be back. I would have given 5 stars but a few of the pizza slices were less then warm...just unfortunate timing as they keep the buffet filled and we happened to come in between busy lines. The only thing that would make this place better would be some antipasto and/or charcuterie and cheese boards.

First they cannot seem to read simple orders. Plain chicken wings came with buffalo sauce on them. We called and were supposedly give a credit. Called to order last night and they had no idea about the credit. Lie one. We ordered and waited an hour for our food to be delivered. We had to call after they were closed already to find out where it was. 15 minutes lady the order showed up. Understanding we are on 4 minutes from the location. Driver showed up and part of the order was missing. Delivery driver told us we could just order a FREE pizza the next day and get out missing item. When we called we were told no and that we could come pick up our missing item. They have absolutely NO concern for the customer. They do not stand behind their products and service. My recommendation is to go to Pizza Pete in town. Better service and pizza.

We spend a lot of time on Brookville Lake and this is on our way home. I ordered a veggie pizza and the pizza was loaded with veggies, it weighed a ton! So that was a good thing but what ruined it for me was the doughy, undercooked crust. This would have been a good pizza if the crust had been cooked through and had any crisp to it at all. I ended up eating the toppings off of the crust and leaving the crust in the box. They have not been here very long maybe it will get better I will watch the reviews and if I think that it's getting better I will give it a try again otherwise it is a no for me.
