The employees here are great. The restaurant itself was kind of hard to find. It sits back behind another building and is not real visible. It was clean inside and the employees were great I had the calzone with sausage and mushrooms. It was not great - one of my least I've ever had. The price was very reasonable and you got a side salad (good size) with it. My husband had the steak hoagie which came with chips. The sauce for the hoagie was spicy. We had stopped here years ago and then again 2 years ago. The first time was very good. The second time was just ok and this time wasn't great. My friend and I went for lunch last week / during our lunch hour - we waited to be seated and was told twice someone will be with you in a few minutes. One girl left us standing and went to the bathroom. This guy finally came and I said we only have an hour lunch and he said I'm sorry you're having a bad day. I said I'm not having a bad day we would just like to be seated quicker. He said well you're welcome to go someplace else because we are not a fast food restaurant. So we left and went somewhere else. Just wanted to let LaRosa's know your employees are sending people away. Our families will gladly not go or order where we are not wanted. And BTW we have ate there many times during our lunch hour and been in and out. I guess LaRosa's doesn't want the lunch crowd. read more

Customer Service and asst manager training is much needed at the Batesville IN LaRosa's!! Went to have dinner at 7 pm on a Friday evening. 3 people in our party. Got seated right away. However, a couple that was seated right before us had their drinks and most of their salad ate before a waitress ever came over and said "oh there must be some confusion" and finally took our drink order brought the drinks and then just left. 3 waitresses kept walking by and never even asked anyone the hostess or anyone about taking our order. We finally got up and was leaving and I asked for a manager. I told him how other people after us that had been seated much later had their order taken. Told him how the one waitress brought us drinks and never took our order. He says Sorry about that. Not good enough! The other waitress who never even brought us drinks says "It happens...". I'm like no the one who brought drinks should have just taken the order or got the manager and asked who had our table. We've tried many times over the last few years to eat in their restaurant and it's always poor service. Slow and the waitress said "it happens" should be fired. No customer service. You can only use the drive-thru or have it delivered. read more

I've dined in before at LaRosa's but this was my first time ordering to go. I ordered online, ravioli, salad, breadsticks, and garlic fries. My order was ready right on time. Pickup was fast and easy at the drive up window. My food was delicious. The garlic fries are a great appetizer, enough to share. A very nice experience. read more

Batesville LaRosa's is the last LaRosa's on our way back to Indianapolis from visiting family in the Cincinnati area. We have never had anything but good pizza from this location. However, our last visit on 11/23/25 was very disappointing as we ordered two pizza's which were poorly made. They both contained a lot of crust, minimal cheese and sausage and pepperoni and hardly any sauce. Thank goodness we had jars of LaRosa's sauce at home that we could add. What is more of a disappointment is that I reached out to them on their website but never did receive any communication back. read more

Larosas in Batesville is half way between my house in Indiana and my mom's in Ohio. 8 out of 10 trips home I stop to get pizzas and Calzone. They are one of the best pizza places we buy from. Also love their salads. Always fresh. read more

LaRosa's is one of my favorite pizza places. And this experience was no exception. We got a pizza to go on our way back from Cincinnati. We ordered on the road and 15 minutes later we drove in and it was ready. The crust is thin and delicious. A slightly spicy sauce with lots of toppings. We got Pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. We come to town every year for Freudenfest and look forward to relaxing afterwards with LaRosas. We ordered a sausage mushroom pizza and a baked royal with Italian dressing. This was one of the worst meals I have ever had. The sub was dry and flavorless. The pizza was cold and also completely lacking in flavor. What the heck LaRosas? When we come back next year we will find someplace else-anyplace else-to have dinner. Zero stars read more

I'm going to have to give LaRosa's a solid FOUR star-out-the-door. My family and I visited here for the first time a couple of days ago. We were traveling from FAR southern Indiana to Cincinnati and stopped at a Batesville AirBnb. It was late when we arrived, and some other places were closed, and I was in the mood for pizza. I gradually talked my wife and two kids into it. It took us a fairly long, windy drive to get to LaRosa's but when I walked in... WOW!! It was so beautiful, and my son, age 16, later remarked on how clean it was. The clerk who handled our order (carry out) was sweet and polite. My got our pizza and some dessert items and headed back to the cottage. The Supreme was delightful. Pizza almost everywhere is pricey but LaRosa's does NOT let you go hungry. Each slice was thick and filling but so delicious that I ate about 5 pieces even though I was trying to watch my diet. We also had some kind of cinnamon twist type dessert that was yummy as well. LaRosa's pizza IS greasy, which is why I held back on a 5 star. There's a lot of grease involved. I THINK they could still deliver on the flavor and cut that back some, but it does serve to make the pizza moist and juicy, bite after bite. But you may want to pass on it if you are having stomach issues or are sensitive to grease. I want to especially highlight the delicious(Italian?)sausage which added a delightful kick that had my taste buds in overdrive. I only wish we had a location in Floyd County, but we will be traveling back through the same area in about 6 weeks and will try to stop in again. Definitely a top notch pizza joint that is obviously run by very professional management, who have an attention to detail as a priority. I think we will eat INSIDE next time! read more

I tried LaRosa's for the first time yesterday. I got spaghetti and meatballs. my order came with soup or salad. I got the salad and was surprised, this was a great salad, it had greens, cheese, tomatoes, onion, olives and other vegetables in it. It is big enough for two people. The spaghetti and meatballs were outstanding. Again, there was enough for two people. I am eating my left overs for lunch today. The sauce tasted homemade and while the meatballs are a little small they were very tasty. So to recap I got two bread sticks, a salad and a order of spaghetti and meatballs for less than $15.00 bucks. I am going back to try their lasagna, if their spaghetti is any indication I may never make lasagna at home again. If you have never tried LaRosa's you owe it to yourself to give it a try. read more

Batesville LaRosa's is the last LaRosa's on our way back to West Lafayette from visiting family in the Cincinnati area. We love to pick up some lightly baked pizzas using our Buddy Card and come home and throw them in the oven. Never disappointed. Makes the house smell like memories! read more

Food is still ok here but the service has really gone downhill recently. Just came to dine in (4 of us) and was told it is a 20 minute wait for a table to open up. However, the dining area is FULL of empty tables and booths. If you want La Rosas, better to order delivery and skip this experience. Edit: Out server, Kendra, was a sweetheart. However the tables next to us were cluttered with dishes and never bussed for the entirety of our dinner. read more

Grew up on Larosa's throughout the Northern Ky/Cincinnati area. Everybody has always been pleasant too; servers, managers, kitchen employees. Thanks for the menu variety and reasonable prices. Love the recently-created, clean, fresh look inside. Media screens nicely placed for anybody to view as well. Will continue to recommend LaRosa's; especially for those who enjoy Italian cuisine. My family and I decided to have dinner here on our way home after leaving the Cincinnati Zoo yesterday, we were happy with our visit! First off, they have signs on the doors letting you know that wait times may be a bit longer than usual do to low staffing, so don't go in there complaining about not getting seated quickly like I saw an older gentleman do lastnight, have patience people! Me personally, I thought the staff all did an excellent job trying to keep the flow going, our waitress had a lot of ground to cover and yet didn't keep us waiting around for things, perfect job to you all! Normally my family and I will stop at a LaRosa's Pizza in Cincinnati but as I said we were on our way home and decided this one would do! We love LaRosa's, some of the best pizza around! We tried the Rondos, I believe what they were called, as appetizers they were excellent! Then we ordered the XL pizza that they only do in traditional thin, the pizza was very good! No complaints here! If you're ever in the area of Batesville and wanting pizza I recommend going here if you want great service and good food! Lousy at best. Waited 10 minutes to be seated with staff looking at us multiple times to include what appeared to be a manager. They were no where near crowded. Minestrone soup was 75% broth with only one noodle and the broth had a tinny taste. Pizza was so-so at best and the salad was less than average. Asked for salt and was given two paper packet of fast food take out salt. Are we for real, paper packets for sit down service. Recommended for only people with not sense of smell or taste. All others should seek some place else as anywhere would be infinitely better. read more

Very disappointing food. Ordered a supreme pizza. All the ingredients are in the middle of the pizza. For $19 you get 8 small slices of pizza. Said it was Larosas special sauce, it's just pizza sauce with a TON of basil in it that overpowers the toppings. Not worth the stop. read more

Might be a little harsh with 3 stars if you are a LaRosa's fan. The place is neat and clean and the TVs are an added bonus. The service has been better than average in recent months. I haven't been here in years, but this place was a staple growing up, primarily for takeout for my family. Being a chain, you can expect pretty much the exact same as many other locations; however, this one does offer friendly and helpful service. The staff seem to really care. Again, is this the best pizza you'll ever have? Nope. Is it local? Nope. But it's conveniently located right off the interstate and it's a Cincinnati staple. Don't stop! We were not even acknowledged as a server slowly walked by our table numerous times. After 15 minutes and no service, we left. As we were leaving we acknowledged the poor service and the slow server said , "Don't care I've been here all day!". I hope management sees this. Did an online order tonight. Ordered Chicken Ziti. Online order had bread 2 stix populated in green, alfredo sauce and chicken populated in green, meaning they were part of the order. My only complaint is with the service, they were slow and had plenty of employees. There are 6 in an order so one was perfect for the 3 of us. It came with marinara and garlic butter dipping sauces and I really liked the garlic butter.
