If I could rate 0 I would. I called to purchase pizza and cheese sticks for a sale they were having and pretty much no food was available at the shelby location. Every since then my new fave is Papa John's. I can always depend on them so far. read more

Went to pick up my online order and not one person had gloves on. One of most disgusting things to me when someone is handling my food. Touching their phones, wiping their hands on their clothes, and talking all over the food while preparing it. read more

Sadly this location should be shut down. No one works there. Order pizza and it never gets delivered. So crazy that they even are still open the building should just shut down. A pizza joint that can't actually make or deliver pizza??? I used to work for Pizza hutt for years in NY and we were always on top of our crap. Last time we order from these asshats. read more

The Food was not that good. The Alfredo was barely warm. The pizza was under cooked. The wings were amazing but that's about it. The Service was really bad the waitress was rude and could care less about the table. The restaurant was pretty dirty inside as well which is sad. We didn't read the reviews at all and we should have. read more

So next time you order pizza from here, expect to find cocaine snorting, weed smoking, hooligans both working and waiting for their food. I ordered 30 minutes prior to arriving and let me just say that 45 minutes into the wait I started getting second hand high. Workers didn't know what they were doing, the place smelled like shit, and pizza wasn't even coming out of the oven because there was nobody in the back with any brain cells to make it!! Awful awful awful! Won't be returning if this is what you call a food establishment. No hand washing, workers sneezing I'm just appalled. read more

We ordered $50ish in pizzas and it hasn't been delivered. When calling, employee said it wasn't made yet and then they said it's our for delivery. So then the delivery driver calls and says they ran out of gas and the food would be cold when they got here. What the heck?! Still waiting an hour after it should have been delivered. Do not use this restaurant. read more

This place is absolutely disgusting, coming from a former employee they don't even wash the pizza pans. They rinse off pans and run them through a sanitizer, these pans come out nasty but they will still use them to make pizza. The pizza is always frozen so your not getting quality pizza. Stay away from this place at all cost! read more

My first issue with this location was that my card number was stolen and used several hours away at Lowe's. To add insult to injury, during this purchase my delivery never arrived. After a couple of hours I contacted the store and asked when it would be expected. They assured me it would arrive soon. After another hour I called and asked if I could just come and pick up my order. When I arrived, my order and the orders of several people had never been entered. The kitchen was loud and unprofessional during my 30 min wait with my young grandaughter. This location needs more than a renovation, they need to clean house. read more

Ordered at 8pm got an email on my boyfriends acct at 9:30 saying it wouldn't be out for delivery until midnight, make a phone call and they canceled the order without fucking calling. Definitely letting everyone we know, know about this incident. read more

I really like Pizza Hut. I love trying a variety of pizzas but there is just something about Pizza Hut's pizza that does it for me. This location has been closed for quite some time due to remodeling and it has just now reopened. My wife and I went to eat there and were both impressed by how it looks inside. It's very modern and while not any larger than it was, it has been greatly improved. The food was served hot and fresh and the service was good. I only have two complaints- 1. I always find Pizza Hut's menus to be confusing. There are so many little factors that come into play and it feels like they nickle and dime you over stuff. 2. They don't deliver to me. I live only a mile or two away and know that they deliver to folks we know who live further away. If we think about it we'll call a pizza in and pick it up if we're passing by, which is much cheaper. Pizza Hut charges a delivery fee which doesn't actually go to th driver. You still have to tip. If you're dining in or carrying out, though, this is a nice clean location. It can be a pain to get into the parking lot on a busy night, though. read more

We got the 2 topping Father's Day weekend special on carry out. One beef & bacon and a pepperoni & banana pepper, both pan style crust. It was a great deal & great pizza! read more

I placed an order for over 40 dollars for pick-up (no biggie), it took over an hour to make (again no biggie). After receiving my order that was missing several items. I called to see what occurred. I ended up staying on hold not once but twice for a total of 15 minutes. I called to get the order replaced and it was like pulling teeth. No remorse other than to say "sorry". I work in customer service for large hospitals and it will be a New York minute before I grace this establishment again. read more

Ordered from this place 3 times now. Lesson learned. All three times; food is cold, delivery took over an hour, and they forgot a part of my order. Every time! No thanks. Most of the pizza places in Shelby are slow, but this one is the worst by far. read more

People please someone in Shelby step up on hiring and firing....plus learn to cook. Haven't eaten at pizza hut since late 90's used to love this chain...you remodeled oh wow your pizza sucks plus the service. While waiting for our order an older gentleman came to front looked around no service 10 minutes later came again can we have a refill on our water?? Really? You should have spent less on the tv's here and more on a beverage bar and salad bar. Got a grilled. chicken salad add red onions...asked my husband to make sure they added he replied you see it here on the receipt in bold letters they can't miss that....yeah they missed it. Stood at counter waiting just to see if they stayed on their toes....they could have cared less about the dining room or the carry out customers. And to not ruin my Sunday with my family I let slide....I'm a huge YELP fan whoever created this. I don't wanna be rude but seriously it's freaking ridiculous in Shelby....ugh won't be eating here again for the next 15 year's.... read more

My last visit to pizza hut was awful. My friend and I had to eat with plastic forks, because the employees threw the real forks away. When our pizza shoes up with a hair in it, the manager offered to discount it for us. I said " you will what"? She replied "we will discount it for you." I said I don't think so. My friend said "we haven't even eaten the pizza." The manager got mad grabbed everything she could in one trip and took it to the back. When she returned she told us" you are good to go. I will take care of this." She could have offered to make another pizza, but that might would have involved another crust, which they were probably out of. The 2 times before the "hair day" they were out of pizza crust. My friend and I were really surprised and shocked at this experience, because we had been going to this particular pizza hut for over 15 years. read more

This place sucked on service. I went in to get a pizza for take out and waited 45 minutes. I went to ask them if my pizza was ready and they had not even taken the papers back to make it this place sucks. What is wrong with the people that work here. No wonder the people who deserve to make 15 an hour can not get it because of people like the ones who work here, ruin it for the people who deserve it. I wouldn't never recommend this place to anyone. What is sad is that I love to be at Pizza Hut but definitely not this one horrible horrible horrible service read more

Ordered 2 family pack pasta dinners. Arrived to pick up and they showed me only one order. I let them know I ordered two and they said they would fix me another one. I waited an additional 20 minutes while my first one cooled. When employee checked me out they stated they were going to give me 10%off for my trouble then rang me up for the total price. Very disappointed won't be back until the get better service. read more

I ordered my pizza and waited , watching for the delivery guy. About the time the pizza should have been here, I get a call from pizza hut, a woman named Tiara I think. She said the driver had knocked on my door with no answer. We went back and forth. She would not believe me when I told her no one had been to my door .I told her that i had received a call on my cell phone and try to call back numerous times but couldn't get an answer. She relented and told the driver to come back out. When the driver called me to get directions, he told me that the first time , his gps sent him to a vacant field. I asked about him knocking on the door, and he said that he had been unable to find the house. He said he told the woman this before she called. i asked then why call and blame me, and he said because she is stupid. When i called and asked for the manager, it was Tiana. She denied what the driver said, and that he had told her i wouldn't come to the door. Very unprofessional. I doh't know if I will order from there again. read more

I've never eaten here - they wouldn't ever answer the phone to place a take out order. Tried several times on different dates, just rings forever, no answer - just go to the one in KM, no issues there. read more

2 words...don't. Poor service, disregard order request such as extra cheese on top..

Meat lovers extra cheese and that garlic butter sauce is amazing. I really love the way pizza hut is remodeled in Shelby nc. I love pizza hut. Pizza hut has the best pan crust ever And I'll always love pizza hut as a #1 favorite pizza chain over all pizza chains. No one can compare! Mouth watering cheesy pizza & delicious toppings along with that crispy buttery crust makes my mouth just drool!!! I love pizza hut read more

When you try to call in orders the phone rings and rings because they don't have enough employees working. Asking for a crust flavor is a JOKE because they never put it on there. If you order sauce you have to ask for it once you pick up your order. When I walk up to the counter employees on their phones act like I am inconveniencing them. Always check order twice, it's going to be incorrect 9 times out of 10. Horrible horrible customer service. read more

We tried a take-out. The crust was very hard and dry and tasted just like the one you would get at WalMart. The green bell peppers seemed presoaked in something and salty even though we asked for "easy on the salt". We would not recommend this place. read more

I ordered a pizza through the website and was informed that my pizza would be delivered at 5:31 pm. At 5:55, the delivery guy shows up with a cold pizza. I ask why he was so late and he mumbled something about the manager. I tried calling the store and after 2 minutes of the phone ringing, some one said in a very rapid voice "thank you for calling Pizza Hut, may I put you on hold," click. Four minutes of holding, I try again. Same rapid fire response to which I said, "No," but that didn't do me any good. By this time I'm getting annoyed, so as I am still waiting on hold my wife calls and gets the same treatment. Finally, after several attempts, she was able to get through to the manager and she hands me the phone. After explaining the situation to the manager, he said he could make us a new pizza and have it to us in an hour an half. 90 minutes to wait on another pizza! The lack of customer service drove me mad. I don't think I'll be spending any green at this location again. read more

9/28/2018@4:13 called a pizza for deliver. 2 large pizzas/ 1st pizza with half pepperoni&Cheese the, 2nd pizza all cheese The guy told me 25 mins for deliver. One hour and ten minutes went by. I called back to Pizza Hut of Shelby nc. Asking why havent i eeceived my pizza the lady, ask for my name. She told me theirs no order for that name. I explain to her that I made a order to be delivered to my address. She ask me my address, and the total of my order. I told the her my address and that my total was $21.34. She said, I don't have an order for you. But we can take your order, and deliver it. I told her will she be giving me half off since me and my family been waiting, one and half she said, let me ask my manager. I heard manager in back ground all loud, and rude "No we can not!" She came back to phone telling me my manager said No we can't go half on pizza. I ask for manager name She tells me his name is "Bill" I ask to speak to Bill she ask me to hold on. She ask Bill , again I hear him in back ground. She come back to phone He said, he's busy (Bill is busy). I tells her this is costumer service. I explain to her again, that i ordered a pizza the that I called it in, and the total etc.. Then she tells me she found my order, that the guy that took my order made a mistake he put my order in carryout instead of deliver. I was ok.. Now will i get a fresh pizza delivered me since you have proof of my order. She ask manager he says "yes".. 40 mins. later Delivery guy comes to my house with a burnt pizza not fit for a dog! I ran outside to catch delivery guy. I told him yo give my money back, and take pizzas. The deliver guy apologies. He assure me he only delivery them, he does not cook them. Drlivery guy gave me my money. He asks me to call Bill so he wouldn't get charge for pizzas. I called Pizza Hut of Shelby ask for Bill I told him what happen, which it sounded like he already new.. He was like I'll get you to good pizzas back out in 30 mins. Within 30 mins I had two pizzas, again pizzas were burnt full of garlic powder, and grease dripping not chees, but literal grease dropping with half cook dow on bottom. I hate throwing food away, due to all the hungry families in the world. But I had Throw away 4 boxes of pizzas away because none of it was edible. Time wasted kids still hungry, end up at Toco Bell for dinner. Truth be told Pizza Hut of Shelby Nc doesn't deserve a one star! Cause Pizzas was not edible, and management rudeness! read more
