I really like Pizza Hut. I love trying a variety of pizzas but there is just something about Pizza Hut's pizza that does it for me. This location has been closed for quite some time due to remodeling and it has just now reopened. My wife and I went to eat there and were both impressed by how it looks inside. It's very modern and while not any larger than it was, it has been greatly improved. The food was served hot and fresh and the service was good. I only have two complaints- 1. I always find Pizza Hut's menus to be confusing. There are so many little factors that come into play and it feels like they nickle and dime you over stuff. 2. They don't deliver to me. I live only a mile or two away and know that they deliver to folks we know who live further away. If we think about it we'll call a pizza in and pick it up if we're passing by, which is much cheaper. Pizza Hut charges a delivery fee which doesn't actually go to th driver. You still have to tip. If you're dining in or carrying out, though, this is a nice clean location. It can be a pain to get into the parking lot on a busy night, though. read more

The Food was not that good. The Alfredo was barely warm. The pizza was under cooked. The wings were amazing but that's about it. So then the delivery driver calls and says they ran out of gas and the food would be cold when they got here. What the heck?! Still waiting an hour after it should have been delivered. This place is absolutely disgusting, coming from a former employee they don't even wash the pizza pans. They rinse off pans and run them through a sanitizer, these pans come out nasty but they will still use them to make pizza. The pizza is always frozen so your not getting quality pizza. My first issue with this location was that my card number was stolen and used several hours away at Lowe's. To add insult to injury, during this purchase my delivery never arrived. After a couple of hours I contacted the store and asked when it would be expected. They assured me it would arrive soon. After another hour I called and asked if I could just come and pick up my order. When I arrived, my order and the orders of several people had never been entered. I placed an order for over 40 dollars for pick-up (no biggie), it took over an hour to make (again no biggie). After receiving my order that was missing several items. I called to see what occurred. I ended up staying on hold not once but twice for a total of 15 minutes. I called to get the order replaced and it was like pulling teeth. No remorse other than to say "sorry". I work in customer service for large hospitals and it will be a New York minute before I grace this establishment again. read more

My last visit to pizza hut was awful. My friend and I had to eat with plastic forks, because the employees threw the real forks away. When our pizza shoes up with a hair in it, the manager offered to discount it for us. I said " you will what"? She replied "we will discount it for you." I said I don't think so. My friend said "we haven't even eaten the pizza." The manager got mad grabbed everything she could in one trip and took it to the back. When she returned she told us" you are good to go. I will take care of this." She could have offered to make another pizza, but that might would have involved another crust, which they were probably out of. While waiting for our order an older gentleman came to front looked around no service 10 minutes later came again can we have a refill on our water?? Really? You should have spent less on the tv's here and more on a beverage bar and salad bar. I went to ask them if my pizza was ready and they had not even taken the papers back to make it this place sucks. What is wrong with the people that work here. Ordered 2 family pack pasta dinners. Arrived to pick up and they showed me only one order. I let them know I ordered two and they said they would fix me another one. I waited an additional 20 minutes while my first one cooled. When employee checked me out they stated they were going to give me 10%off for my trouble then rang me up for the total price. I ordered my pizza and waited , watching for the delivery guy. About the time the pizza should have been here, I get a call from pizza hut, a woman named Tiara I think. She said the driver had knocked on my door with no answer. We went back and forth. She would not believe me when I told her no one had been to my door .I told her that i had received a call on my cell phone and try to call back numerous times but couldn't get an answer. She relented and told the driver to come back out. When the driver called me to get directions, he told me that the first time , his gps sent him to a vacant field. I asked about him knocking on the door, and he said that he had been unable to find the house. When you try to call in orders the phone rings and rings because they don't have enough employees working. Asking for a crust flavor is a JOKE because they never put it on there. If you order sauce you have to ask for it once you pick up your order. When I walk up to the counter employees on their phones act like I am inconveniencing them. I ordered a pizza through the website and was informed that my pizza would be delivered at 5:31 pm. At 5:55, the delivery guy shows up with a cold pizza. I ask why he was so late and he mumbled something about the manager. I tried calling the store and after 2 minutes of the phone ringing, some one said in a very rapid voice "thank you for calling Pizza Hut, may I put you on hold," click. Four minutes of holding, I try again. Same rapid fire response to which I said, "No," but that didn't do me any good. By this time I'm getting annoyed, so as I am still waiting on hold my wife calls and gets the same treatment. Finally, after several attempts, she was able to get through to the manager and she hands me the phone. After explaining the situation to the manager, he said he could make us a new pizza and have it to us in an hour an half. 90 minutes to wait on another pizza! I called back to Pizza Hut of Shelby nc. Asking why havent i eeceived my pizza the lady, ask for my name. She told me theirs no order for that name. I explain to her that I made a order to be delivered to my address. She ask me my address, and the total of my order. I told the her my address and that my total was $21.34. She said, I don't have an order for you. But we can take your order, and deliver it. I told her will she be giving me half off since me and my family been waiting, one and half she said, let me ask my manager. I heard manager in back ground all loud, and rude "No we can not!" She came back to phone telling me my manager said No we can't go half on pizza. I ask for manager name She tells me his name is "Bill" I ask to speak to Bill she ask me to hold on. She ask Bill , again I hear him in back ground. She come back to phone He said, he's busy (Bill is busy). I tells her this is costumer service. I explain to her again, that i ordered a pizza the that I called it in, and the total etc.. Then she tells me she found my order, that the guy that took my order made a mistake he put my order in carryout instead of deliver. I was ok.. Now will i get a fresh pizza delivered me since you have proof of my order. She ask manager he says "yes".. 40 mins. later Delivery guy comes to my house with a burnt pizza not fit for a dog! I ran outside to catch delivery guy. I told him yo give my money back, and take pizzas. The deliver guy apologies. He assure me he only delivery them, he does not cook them. I hate throwing food away, due to all the hungry families in the world. But I had Throw away 4 boxes of pizzas away because none of it was edible.
