The location has changed since then but they had been in Magallanes Center ever since. Whenever I come home to Magallanes Village, I always find time to dine here since it's my Mama's favorite pizza place. We wanted a quick bite and decided to come here. I was surprised to see that they're celebrating 50 years. They have a special menu for this special event and they're offering 1975 pesos on their 1975 Blowout Meal. The meal is good for 7 people and it includes their favorite pizza, spaghetti, chicken, and garlic toast. However, there's only 3 of us and this meal is just too much for us. We just opted for a budget meal since we're not that hungry. We ordered their Wholesome combo-original bunch of lunch- with 2 slices of pizza, chicken, and spaghetti. The portion is just about right for us. I'm just excited to know that this place has lasted through 50 years of service. Congratulations and more power to the team in Magallanes.

What was memorable is that it was so cold inside because of the AC that I ended up getting sick. UGH. So, maybe getting sick wasn't their fault. I didn't want to talk too far by myself tonight out here, although the BGC area is supposed to be safe. There's a big mall on the other end of the street, out there is always tomorrow to take a look there. I think that this area is relatively safe versus the other hotel we stayed at, because around there, the surrounding area was not quite as developed and there was no sense of security and in fact the locals even said that you need to be careful when you walked around outside of the hotel grounds by the City of Dreams complex. i ordered their "my mix" combo, as you can pick a pizza pouch, one kind of chicken, and a pasta side and if you wanna upgraded it's only 99 pesos more, so you get all of this for 199+99, so i only paid three hundred and fifty seven pesos and that included my drink too, thus it's a good deal and i like to eat out in the economy vs only at the hotel. I had thechicken Alfredo, parmesan chicken, 2 pepperoni pizza pouches, and a Mug root beer. If I could do it again, I would double up on the pasta as that was the best out of the three. The others were good too, but there always has to be a winner..lol... The workers are outstanding as well!!

I'm in Asia and like the USA, they screw up our food just as much as we ruin their food. The issue at Papa Johns Pizza Philippines is, there's suppose to be uniformity and continuity across the board for all locations, regardless of country. I ordered two pizzas, both with extra mushrooms, Murphy's law folks. One was severely undercooked and both had putrid pale, soft, squishy, tasteless mushrooms from a can (Tin for those from the UK, or affiliated countries). Upon calling to express my concern to Papa Johns Philippines, I was summarily informed of the decision to discontinue the use of fresh mushrooms, for the quick, cheap, easy and repulsive canned mushrooms! "Better ingredients better pizza, that's Papa Johns?" Not in the Philippines! The explanation was suspect, as you can't call any of the stores directly in The Philippines, as with all pizza places here, there's one main number. The suspicion comes from being placed on hold and then told "We decided to stop using fresh mushrooms a few months ago Sir, that's what a district manager told me." I asked him if the corporate offices in the USA were aware of this decision? His response, "I'm not sure, but that's the decision we made for The Philippines." My wife is on the phone and was just told "The mushrooms we used were banned for health reasons, so we use canned now." Gosh, that makes me feel so much better, poisonous mushrooms from China? Sounds delicious!!! Usually I eat the local food, however, eating a fertilized duck egg with a boiled duckling carcass, is not my bag, as in Balut, google that and hit images. After seeing and eating this rotten pizza, Balut is looking a lot more appetizing!!! In all seriousness, there's delicious food in The Philippines, but not Papa Johns! If you don't like mushrooms and they cook the pizza correctly, you're in good shape, go ahead and order away. The last warning I can give to everyone is, you have to explain everything in detail here and they are hardcore about getting their rotten pizza back. They must think people do the same crap they do in the states, order food, complain, get more food and/or their money back. Sad but true. Heads up for pizza anywhere in Asia folks, it's well, different, so ate donuts and most other sweet items (there not sweet, usually).

I had some really good memories associated with that place - mostly because it was our go-to birthday celebration dinner place and our go-to org working lunch place because there was a 30% discount for students. I mean, when you're looking for a good barkada meal, pizza is always in the conversation right? Papa John's makes damn good pizza: particularly their chicken pizza with the barbecue sauce drizzled on top - that's fucking divine. If you can get another pizza, add in their pepperoni too which is also pretty good. Not only that, but Papa John's offers a variety of good pasta too - their spicy penne is one to look out for. They also have a variety of barkada-packaged meals which can actually feed more than they're described. (The 4-person barkada meal can definitely feed 6.) Papa John's makes pizza a hell of a lot better than a lot of pizza chain places, and then some, so if you're itching for some good and pretty damn sulit pizza, then it's a good place to go to.

A nice open kitchen is the restaurant's highlight along with smell of fresh dough wafting through the air greets you. Doesn't hurt that their staff is very welcoming. Nice, clean and hip interiors give that KPop vibe. Okay, it's established this chain seems like a big deal in Korea but could their eccentric food combinations be a hit with the local palate? Turns out it does! The menu is very inventive. Would want to return and try out the different crust options like the sweet potato filled edge. Food was served fairly fast at 10 minutes even when the waiter said about 15-20 mins. The Bulgogi pizza had great dough. Not too dense, right amount of crisp and not yeasty nor oily. Oozing with cheese too! Asked for a bit of gochujang, really a good pairing. One regular sized pie does it for two hungry people. Another eyebrow raising dish was the Seafood kimchi oven baked spaghetti. I found it interesting. Think of your regular pomodoro loaded with flavor, more cheese and bounty of the sea. Really works. Ummm, skip the baked chicken. Can't wait to go back!

Last weekend, my wife and I walked over to Greenbelt to beat the summer afternoon heat. She noticed a sign that says a certain Mr. Pizza has open up in Greenbelt 3. A true blue pizza lover, my wife took my hand and wasted no time going to the place. At first, I had no idea that Mr. Pizza was a Korean pizzeria. But when we entered the brightly lit eating place and I saw this mesmerizing all-female K-Pop group dancing on the giant wall screen, plus all the staff shouting some unfamiliar greetings as they bowed down, I immediately realized Mr. Pizza is not a local brand. They have round leather-bound menus. Inside the menu pages, they have embedded the approximate sizes of their pizzas so customers know how big or small their orders will be when served. Very functional. We tried two of their pizzas. First, the Mr. Pizza Combo. This is their classic version, topped with crumbled meat, corn kernels, bacon, olives, and bell peppers. The second was the thin-crust Crab Cream. Now this was a literally sweet pizza. Apart from the shredded kani sticks, it's topped with sugar. Sweet tooths will love the Crab Cream pizza. Overall, Mr. Pizza was a unique experience for us. Next time, we'll try the Seafood Island 2 with real shrimp tempura and the Potato Gold, which came highly recommended by our attendant.

Motorino is located in the Greenbelt Mall and I definitely get lost trying to find it. This mall is huge! Since I was feeding 5 people, I got to pick an array of pizzas! We started with the Classic Marghertia! Look at the joy in my uncle's face! The pizza was quiet good. I wish it had more sauce and cheese, but the crust was on point. The sauce is a bit sweeter, but I honestly think everything is sweeter in the Philippines. We also ordered the Soppressata Piccante (personal favorite!) which had Fior Di Latte, soppressata, chilies and topped with oregano. My cousin ordered the 4 cheese with Fior Di Latte, Pecorino, Gorgonzola and Provolone. It was so cheese-y. My brother also ordered the calzone which was the table favorite. Inside they stuffed it with Ricotta, American Bacon and spinach. It wasn't as cheese gooey as I was expecting though, but ricotta will do that for you. You can hear my disappointment. Haha but it was still pretty good. At roughly 600 pesos a pie which is about $12 a pie, it's not bad. $12 a pie is the US is a steal, but for the Philippines, it's quiet expensive. Thank God I'm American!

When I choose to have my fill of Yellow cab, I like dining in and hogging the chili oil bottle. I don't know why other pizza joints haven't followed suit, but chili oil on pizza is the best idea ever, it's so addicting that I'd be willing to pay for a take-out if they charged (but please don't). Although my visits to Yellow Cab spike only during their Pepperoni Fridays promo, the urge to dial their number is always there. No one; at least no pizza lover, that is. And with Yellow Cab, it really is that simple. Pepperoni pizza (and maybe some extra cheese, if you're into that) may seem like a boring order, but not when it's from here. When you come to Yellow Cab, you're not expecting thin crust Italian style pizza. Nope, we're talking huge slices of pizza (that you often have to share because of how big they are!) with thick, chewy crusts, and lots and lots of cheese. They also have a number of great flavors to choose from, each with their own distinctive flavors. Add some chili flakes, and you're good to go! I was rather skeptical about ordering anything other than pizza from a pizza joint, but they have some great pastas! The Chicken Alfredo is ultra creamy, and is now a personal favorite; if you're into some spice, get the Charlie Chan. Their Dear Darla (Rolled thin crust pizza with arugula and alfalfa sprouts) is worth trying as well. Mmm. No one would consider this to be a healthy meal. I mean, you can see and feel the oil of the pizza, but once in a while, it is so worth the calories.
