Stopped here while traveling. Saw it had a buffet which is difficult to find at PH anymore. We walked in at just about 12 noon, no one at the front cashier. After a couple of minutes a lady came walking in from the front doors towards the back. She said someone will be right with you. We stood there another 10 mins and a guy came up from the kitchen. We had almost left. I think he was the manager. We paid for both of the buffets, $8.99 each plus $1 each for fountain soda. Anyone that remembers PH buffets, they were always quite good. That wasn't the case here. No salad bar! I get it, trying to keep the price lower, but then what is a buffet? I guess just some different pizzas and some not so good pasta. This was horrible, no other way I can say it. It's no different than what you can get from any PH carryout or delivery. Dough all from frozen today where originally PH made fresh dough everyday. Makes a HUGE difference for one thing. Short on toppings which is about how all of chain pizza is today. I don't know the last time they cleaned the tops of the tables, but ours was dirty and sticky. Really wished afterwards that we would have just went to Pizza Ranch right down the street. I know, we would have paid more but at least you're going to get a decent salad bar. This is possibly the nicest Pizza Hut I have ever been in. - The staff was friendly and so very polite. We ordered immediately and our food came out really fast. I called ahead and asked if they would put a game on if I were to come in and they said yes. I came in and asked if they would and they told me no. I was delivering a load in town was wanting pizza. I called in a order for a half supreme with jalapeños and half cheese. The pizza got there soon enuff and I settled in to eat. I opened the box to discover they had forgot the half supreme and I had a cheese pizza with half jalapeño. I called the location back about the mixup and the girl on the phone. She said she remembered putting it in for half supreme but the computer must not have "took it" and there was nothing she could do to remedy it because there was nothing she could do about it because there was no manager on duty. They said 30 mins and I waited and waited and waited. 1hr 20 mins go by so I called them after waiting on the phone forever again. They said they couldn't find the house. I helped them find it but by the time they got her my pizza is cold and not very good. My mozzarella sticks were soggy. And my cheese sticks not even up to standards. This location doesn't value your business. My family was traveling through the area and planned to meet my parents there for dinner. The dining room closes at 8 pm and we were going to arrive around 740 pm. We called ahead of time to confirm we would be seated when we arrived so close to the dining room closing. We were assured this wouldn't be an issue. Also the restaurant continued to service carry out and delivery until 10 pm. Upon our arrival we were told the restaurant closed in 20 minutes and couldn't be seated. I explained I had called and spoke with someone just 55 min earlier. After the employee consulted with the manager we were told we could only order carry out. We left and took our party of 8, $106 food bill, and patronage elsewhere. It's incredible to me that when you read headlines of Pizza Hut closing dine in locations all across the country this is the treatment you receive. It's clear Pizza Hut doesn't value the family dining experience and its failures at its dine in restaurants may be a product of its own ignorance. read more

Was visiting in area & ordered online special 3 topping large pizza. When arrived to pick up girl at counter said large cheese and I said no it was large sausage mushroom & banana pepper. She said order came through as cheese but they would make a new one. I believe her and later got an email confirmation for my "cheese pizza". Do not order Online. Their system is difficult to navigate & prone to error As to the pizza. Typical Pizza Hut ok for the price but doesn't compare to a quality independent. Also they use banana pepper pickles not fresh. Who puts pickled banana peppers on a pizza Also restaurant is nice looking inside but would not eat there because it needs a good cleaning. I am a local that has ordered take out and had their buffet frequently. Food has always been good. They have only ever messed up a take out order once (they gave me two wrong pizzas that I hadn't ordered). They made me the pizzas I had originally ordered and let me keep the others at no charge. As for dining in, service has always been good with prompt service. The buffet can sometimes appear bare and they are not always quick in restocking it. read more

I just want people to be honest on their reviews. My husband worked very hard for years making Pizza Hut a great place. We've always been told ours was the best. We did sell a year ago but the product and hopefully service will continue to be a great place you want to go. Food was standard Pizza Hut fare, but the service was pretty freakin' awful. I had other customers getting irate on MY behalf, we were so thoroughly ignored. Yes, employee who backtalked me before I left, I understand it's Pizza Hut, not a bar. However, you should probably then remove that large BAR-LIKE AREA where you have a BAR, replace it with tables, and send someone over to check up on them, instead of having us wave over people who are just trying to take a shortcut around it, and getting caught by us by chance. read more

We are staying at Best Western. Walked over for a couple beers about 4:30 and was going to have buffet at 5:30. We sat at the bar. A waitress glanced over and just then...a man who we think was the manager said something to her. She again looked at us and said she will be right with us. ( not her fault ). That same guy ( who we think was a manager) came over and chewed a young guys butt for sitting next to another guy who was on a lap top. He said he was paying him minimum wage and he is sitting there bothering him and he was going to have to ask him to leave! I wish I could give this a negative star review. We are local and have patronized this Pizza Hut for years, even when it was on the other side of town. I had called a month ago and reserved a room so that a club I am in could have a meal and a meeting on September 21st @ 6 p.m., 20-25 people. Whoever took my reservation said ok. On September 18th, I received a call from this Pizza Hut, which is still on my phone, confirming my reservation and asking if I still needed it. I assured them I did as we were having a meal and a meeting. We got there a little before 6 and there was someone else in the room they had just confirmed with me 2 days before. They wouldn't let us use the smaller room because they said the other people were using it for their coats and for the kids to be able to run in. There were about 10 people in there. The manager that night said it wasn't his problem. Really... We finally sat against the back wall, which made it very difficult to have a meeting. About 20 minutes after our drink orders were taken, my husband and I got up and physically filled everyone's drink order from the soda machine and we got enough menus to pass out. The whole thing was just very irritating. They acted like it was our group that was putting them in an imposition. Again, I am local, but I will never go back to that Pizza Hut. Our annual meeting next year will be at Pizza Ranch. This Pizza Hut needs an onsite manager who cares and who will hire people who will actually work. read more

This place is incredibly unprofessional. Not only are the employees inconsiderate and rude but the food quality is extremely disappointing. My wife ordered carry out, sat at the pickup window with our 1 year old daughter in the car. 4 separate times people walked by the window without acknowledging her. When she went inside because no one was helping her, she was yelled at by an employee when she asked him for assistance because he had clocked out. Then the person that brought our pizzas out to the counter dropped them on the counter and was very short with her when she was paying. We never eat here because we're not from Mt Pleasant.
