I don't think he's ever eaten meat, onion and cilantro tacos before today. He complained about it all. But when we left, I asked him and he said he should have gotten a bowl of that chicken to go because he loved it. I got the steak street tacos. So tender and tasty. I would ordered these again with no problem. Thank you for the recommendation YELP and previous commenters.

Carmen, his wife, was an excellent cook and we are grateful to have found their little restaurant! The pork burrito was everyone's favorite. It was full of flavor. Their "dry salsa" was an item we read about on a yelp review and is off menu. When we asked Salvador about it, he brought us some to try. It's very unique and pretty spicy. We loved it! We will be back despite the hour and a half drive.

I realize wait staff and kitchens can become overwhelmed. But be honest and I'll be patient. Saw many people come in, be served and leave before we got our food. And honestly, it was all quite bland. The chimichanga was soggy, rice and beans unseasoned, tamales really mushy with very little chicken and what was included was dry. Definitely look elsewhere if you want flavor or a pleasant dining experience.

Food is definitely not disappointing. Maybe it was the hunger but the first bite out of my fried taco my eyes rolled back.
