they locked the doors when i had an order that THEY confirmed & the man inside told me he would cancel it (he didn't.)

I ordered from here for delivery after waiting about an hour with no word from the restaurant I called them and they said they didn't have a driver. Since at that point it had been over an hour since I placed the order I told them to just cancel. The lady on the phone could not have been more apathetic! Then when I called their corporate support office they began taking down my information and then hung up on me. No wonder Pizza Hut has such horrible reputation since this is how they treat their customers. Not worth the trouble. The majority of restaurants in our area, from time of order to delivery, is about 35 minutes and if there is ever an issue they ALWAYS call me to see how they can make my experience better but NOT PIZZA HUT, NO WAY! Commercial pizza is trash and it doesn't have to be The promo for the new Detroit style pizza got me. How bad can it be? I forgot, it's Pizza Hut and they use the type of cheese that really doesn't have the flavor or consistency of any Italian cheese especially mozzarella. The sauce wasn't seasoned for Detroit style it was seasoned for a middle school cafeteria. The cheese was not to the edge and there was no sauce on top. The color of the final product ( not food) was very unappetizing. **only had one piece because I had to try it. Tried to get a refund and wasted gas and time. Only the owner who is the Manager is allowed to provide customer services. Guess who wasn't there? Yup. Thanks Moni for living up to the reviews for this location. This is why I don't mind driving to NYC for many things. This being one of them. It took a few tries but I finally got a hold of the owner/manager Moni. He absolutely refused to offer a refund as I admitted I ate one slice. He also stated emphatically that the Pizza Hut corporation will do nothing for the customer so I should continue to call them and get nothing. Dudes a real pompous chode. read more

I haven't had Pizza Hut in decades but remember it as being tasty. I was disappointed today. The pizza had a cafeteria style taste to it. The cheese was bland and flavorless. Was it truly necessary to ask me a million Qs to who,what,where,why(exaggerated sarcasm here). The Detroit pizza was so dope! I substituted bacon instead of the little pepperonis! also tried the mini Cinnabon mini rolls and they are so good! I went in hoping to regain that excitement feeling I used to feel as a kid. It never returned, the pizza and wings were pretty much tasteless. It's clean but extremely quiet. Mid afternoon and basically just us there. I recommend that Pizza Hut just stick to Take out and reduce the size of this restaurant. They used to be so great. Lately, they've seriously gone down hill. My fiancé and I would eat here often & the food was always great. Recently, we haven't been receiving the correct order. Always extra sauce when we ask for little sauce. The entire pizza extra cheese when we only wanted half. Things like that, and it's so disappointing. Despite previous reviews this place is worth it. NEW BUSINESS: NEEDS TO WORK OUT KINKS. Service still needs help, but given time, they'll do just fine. On a recent weekday evening visit, the place was bustling, which is a good sign as people in the area are excited about this (and two other adjoining eateries) addition to the busy Route 6 corridor. Decor is great, but ambiance is noisy due to the height of the ceiling. There's a bit of a tight squeeze near the front door as people are both coming into the restaurant as well as paying on their way out. Staff is very friendly and willing to get your order going as soon as possible, but with the new kinks not having been worked out yet, you should allow the staff some time and yourself some patience. We ordered a pan pizza and two personal pizzas for the kids. The pan pizza was delivered immediately but this was due to a mix-up in staff communication. The kids' pizzas took almost thirty minutes to arrive. Both tasted great and we were all satisfied, however there is definitely something lacking in the flavor compared to the Pizza Hut in Pleasantville ... Pleasantville pans are maybe "greasier," thus making the pizzas more flavorful? Then again, they've been around for over thirty years. Ordered the two pizzas for $6.99 deal from Pizza Hut 1751 east Main Street Mohegan lake, NY 10547 when I went to get my order my bill was $19.24 I asked the manager her name Sabrina why my price is more than the $6.99 deal where you can order any two pizzas any topping deal her response was she did not no and she could not give it to me for the deal advertised and she would not adjust the price. I will Never order or eat there again manager very rude and no type of managerial skills at all. They need to hire a person who can manage the store and have better customer service skills read more

Unfortunately this is a very disappointing Pizza Hut. I order two pizzas and two sets of wings. The pizzas were terrible, no taste and paper thin. I've never seen anything like it. The wings were bone dry, I mean literally dry, chewy and no sauce. Half of them were uncoated and you could see the chicken breading. I've been to other pizza huts and Domino's and this place is at the bottom of the list. They are also pricey and do not honor all coupons. I've been to this location twice. First time, 2 of my party had bad reactions to their meals. The second time, our party walked out before we even ordered. There was one other customer in the dining area, and we dat waiting for 10 minutes for someone to take our order. The menus we were given when seated were filthy. Super greasy with bits of food and sticky beverage stains inside and out. They were so grody, we hesitated to keep flipping through them. Seriously-- your menus are the first thing customers come into contact with once they sit. They shouldn't be grossed out by touching them! Not gonna trust your food prep standards. I came in for the lunch buffet. When I arrived there were 2 pizzas on the buffet which both looked like they had been there awhile so I opted for the salad bar first hoping new pizza would come out shortly. I had been there about 15 minutes..had my salad (definitely bad/old lettuce). A couple walked in, got seated, ordered an appetizer of cheese breadsticks and a pizza, were served both their breadsticks and pizza, ate it, paid their bill, and left. All the while a new pizza was NEVER put out on the buffet. If you are going to have a lunch buffet. Keep it fresh. So if you intend on going here for a quick lunch option at the buffet, you'll be better off just ordering a whole pizza of your choice. But I don't recommend going here at all. WORST PIZZA HUT LOCATION!!! Ordered a Pizza online with a $10 deal for any pizza with any type of toppings and when I went to go pick up my order I found that half the toppings were not even on my pizza I asked them to fix it and they said they would charge me extra. I was very disappointed because there was no disclaimer stating that I would have to pay extra for toppings and I had to wait an extra 20 minutes even though I was in a rush. The people that worked there said that it was their boss' "RULE"??? Very dissatisfied and I will definitely never be back. When you create an order online they ask for a phone number if they were not able to add the toppings that I wanted they could've easily called me and asked to charge me extra or could have informed me rather than me arriving and having to wait another 20 minutes for them to fix the pizza. Even when I did receive my food it was not hot it was barely warm and the service here is so horrible. Won't be back Mr. Patel! (Boss/Owner) UPDATE: I contacted the owner himself and he seemed to care less and said he cannot give out toppings for free even though I clearly paid for my order, I contacted corporate and they will contact the franchise owner themselves. This Pizza Hut must be the worst pizza place in this country. Manager/owner Moni believes customer is not worthy of voicing dissatisfaction. Don't think they will get your order right and he will argue with you all the way that you are wrong and he is right. My order was specifically 100 which 2 people confirmed but Moni wants me to accept order 106 even though I voiced to him my son has allergies. He is arrogant and dismissive and had to not only point out he is a manager but the owner. If you want to order fast food pizza for enjoyment choose any other spot but this one. This guy does not deserve any of your money or time. On top of it he threatened me that he would come to my house and look at the pizza and not take it back even though I was uncomfortable.
