I just experienced the worst…read morecustomer service here at this location. I placed a pickup order to go. When I picked up the order and arrived home, the order was unsatisfactory. When I called the store back, I reached Ari. When I spoke with Ari, she was acting completely unprofessional, as if she didn't understand the things that I was saying to her. I had to repeat myself multiple times. To be honest, I don't think there was a language barrier. She was being intentionally difficult.
She told me that there was nothing she could do and that she would give me the phone number of Edgar, who is in charge. Even when attempting to provide me with Edgar's number, she continued to be extremely difficult and speak over me while I was talking. When it came time to actually give me the number, she hung up on me.
I called back and asked her if she had hung up on me, and she said yes, then hung up on me again. I called back several times, but she refused to answer the phone. I finally got through and reached a young lady named Angel. Angel claimed that she had no idea what was going on or what to do, but said Ari could give her the number to Edgar. Angel then gave me a number that wasn't even in service.
Immediately after dialing the number that was out of service, I called the store back several times. Neither Angel nor Ari would answer the phone.
When I initially spoke with Angel, Angel told me that Ari is the store manager. Imagine a store manager hanging up on paying customers simply because she's ignorant and unprofessional.
I don't understand why Ari would tell me that she couldn't help me when, in fact, she could have. When I called back, I clearly explained that she had two options: she could either replace the items that were unsatisfactory, or she could issue a refund. Instead, she claimed that I would need to speak with Edgar in order to get that accomplished.
I 100% will never go back to this location and don't recommend anyone else going to this location either. Based on the reviews, this doesn't seem to be an isolated incident -- it appears to be their standard level of customer service toward paying customers, which is unacceptable.
You would think a store like Subway would be eager to provide quality customer service, given that few people even eat there anymore, and this economy. This will absolutely be my last time giving my time and money to Subway -- at any location, anywhere in the United States.
This is not me being emotional; this is me choosing not to give my money to a company that disrespects me and provides both poor customer service and poor food quality. Ari is deplorable and has awful customer service.
When I walked into the store to pick up my order, I had to play a game of charades just to retrieve my order. Ari asked me for my name, and I gave her my full name. I noticed that she was covering the receipt so that I couldn't see the name on the ticket and kept asking me to give my name again and to spell it out. What type of nonsense is this?
I could understand this level of scrutiny if Subway were some high-end fine dining restaurant where meals cost $50 a plate, but this is Subway, for crying out loud. Just give me my order!
I sure hope Ari got what she desired from hanging up on me, because not only will I be reporting this to Corporate, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and any other outlet necessary, but I will also be getting a full refund for my order and continuing to post reviews about this experience. I truly hope the loss of money and potential customers will be worth her emotional and unprofessional decision to hang up on a customer and refuse to address a legitimate issue.
