It was pretty quiet inside and had a relaxed, seat yourself vibe that I actually really enjoyed. I had two servers who were both kind and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable, especially dining solo. My absolute favorite part was the Greek salad. I ordered the half portion and it was so fresh, came out quickly, and had the most delicious vinaigrette. I'd go back just for that alone! I also tried the sweet and spicy pizza. It wasn't very saucy, and the topping combination wasn't totally my favorite. I think next time I would keep it simple with pineapple and pepperoni. That said, the crust was incredible, crispy on the outside but still soft and doughy on the inside, which I loved. They didn't have balsamic glaze when I asked, but I got a side of ranch instead and honestly, it worked perfectly. As someone who is from the Dallas area, it's not anything over the top or fancy. BUT for the location, it's a really solid little spot. Easy, welcoming, and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

The Rock Yard popped up at this increasingly busy intersection of two small country highways. After a day of kicking around on the ranch,my grandson and I were hungry. So,I decided now was the perfect time to try Rock Yard. I'm not going to spend too much time on this review as I don't believe they earned it. My experience was less than rewarding for one primary and I consider mortal sin,pre-cooked hamburger patty. Our food was brought out way too fast after ordering to have been cooked from scratch. Not sure why anyone building a customer base would take this approach. We both finished our burgers. We ordered the Hangover Cure consisting of a substantial patty, bacon, over easy egg( also seemed precooked) and a small container of queso. I will probably return and give them a second chance. They have a dedicated pizza oven and it would be nice to pick one up on the way to the farm sometime. Till then,I'll be disappointed in the average burger that could have been great

I requested a pizza as soon as I arrived, yet it took 35-40 minutes before they even decided to make the pizza I had been waiting for. The employees need to do a better job of paying attention to customers, taking orders seriously, and maintaining a professional and friendly attitude. Customers shouldn't have to wait that long for a pizza they requested upon arrival. Management needs to address this issue and ensure the staff are doing their jobs properly. Overall, this experience was unacceptable, and the customer service definitely needs improvement. If I could rate this location zero stars, I would.
