A pizza is good to split between 2 and 3 people. They are able to split checks here which is great when coming with a group. Parking lot is tiny, but they do offer valet.

Was very disappointed in the location. Read nothing but good reviews and had several…read morerecommendations for it. Decided to stop on by since I was in town and try it out. Got in and loved the small town feeling in the shop section. Walked on past and stood around for a few minutes to get seated, which was odd cause there appeared to be no one else sitting. Sat down and noticed the walls had some sort of splatter on them. Not a wash or design, but like dirt and grime that hasn't been washed off in years. I sat there for nearly ten minutes with no one checking in on me. Several of the workers looked at me and just kept on walking by. No greetings, no asking if I needed help, no telling anyone else, nothing. Instead they played on their phones and spent time talking to one another. Didn't even get asked for drinks or anything. Over ten minutes sitting and waiting for some sort of acknowledgement from a staff that seemed like they couldn't care less. Got up and walked out. Super disappointing for a place that's supposed to be a big hit.

The real star was our server, Marcelo. Instead of just taking our order, he asked each of us what we like and suggested a dish for everyone. He was spot on. I had the Rigatoni Palermitana, with sausage, pomodoro, capers, olives and a kick of Calabrian chili, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. Everyone in our party loved the meal. It felt like eating at an Italian grandmother's table, which fits the name. If you're in Little Italy, go, and ask for Marcelo! PS don't forget the gelato!

Sunday evening in Little Italy, and Nonna was PACKED. Somehow, we managed to snag a table outside…read moreright next to the Little Italy sign, and honestly, it couldn't have been a better spot. After a long day at the beach, we ordered a bottle of wine, and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't ridiculously overpriced. Sitting outside, enjoying a glass of wine and watching Little Italy come alive was exactly what we needed. Our server was exceptional. The service was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. But let's talk about the food... The food was AMAZING. We ordered several different things, and everything we tried was delicious, but the pappardelle with short ribs was the standout. The pasta was absolutely fantastic--rich, comforting, and exactly the kind of Italian comfort food you want at the end of a long day. And then there was the dessert case... Oh. My. Goodness. Everything in that case looked like it was personally designed to make you regret saying, "No, we're too full for dessert." Nonna was exactly what we were hoping for that evening: great food, great service, a beautiful Little Italy setting, and a relaxed atmosphere where we could sit outside and enjoy ourselves. I can't wait to go back and eat some more Italian comfort food--and next time, I'm getting the tiramisu.
