Slices of pizza

loved the by the slice pizza cant go wrong with always fresh and crispy good pizza whith actual flavor not like other giant pizzas

Customers and owner not wearing masks
Vanesaa B.

Update: I'm parked outside waiting on an order and none of the employees are wearing masks. They have them under their chins. Customers aren't wearing masks either. So sad, trying to help small businesses during these difficult times but they don't seem to care.

Huge pizza slices for a great price. Kinda like NY style. Easy parking. If you're in the South Bay it's a must try.

X-large with half pep jalapeno and half mushroom sausage
Sally L.

Got a x-large pizza half pepperoni and jalapeno and half mushroom and sausage. Absolutely amazing pizza. Some of the best pizza I've ever had. And for 22 bucks totally worth it. Just remember it's cash only. Owners were really nice too. They were all wearing masks during Covid and brought the pizza to my car. Highly recommend.

Great service and the pizza is delicious. It is family owned, which we should all support family owned businesses.

I said "heck yeah" It was a slice I don't normally eat but hey, I appreciate the offer! Ordered chopped cheese and fries. BOMB. I let my mother take a bite and she was like, "oh mmm, that's tasty!" I cash my check all the time next door which I highly recommend! Nice guys there... Long story short I didn't try the pizza, Service sucked, went in ordered a 2 slice special with a small drink for 10$ Even put a 1$ tip Total due 11.88 Guy hands me a cup I said no thank you I have my yeti cup. He said how big is your yeti cup I say a little bit bigger than that cup. He said special comes with this cup and I have to use that cup... I said that doesn't make any sense. I laughed and said cancel my order and left. Then another guy said you can't do that in 7-11. Which I do ... I pay for a drink and use mine. Anyways, It's 100 degrees outside. Their cup would have kept my drink cold for .2 seconds. And maybe if they invested in some f AC I would've taken their cup. It was hotter in there than outside. If you go, for the love of God, never, ever, ever, take your cup. Never, ever! Looks like I'll have to try the 1000 other pizza places in a one mile radius.

Wish I had listened to our friends and tried this place earlier cus Yum x2!…read more We went on a Friday and while it was busy, we had made a reservation so we were able to sit down at our table quickly. The drink I ordered was strong but refreshing, the pizza's and appetizers were very good as well. We truly enjoyed everything we ordered. They have so many options of pizza and pasta to try, I feel you'd have to come multiple times to really get to enjoy everything. The service was also on point. The servers made their rounds and kept making sure we were good with our food, water, or anything else we needed. The highlights of the visit were the buffalo bites and the pizzas! I already want to go back and try all the other ones that caught my eye.

Artichoke hearts were great and the stuffed tomatoes were a pleaselant surprise. My family had numerous pastas and a pie which we were all blown away by this hidden gem. Unfortunately the expirence took a turn when it came to our service from our server, Mia. I should mention that we were not locals and we traveled from a different state. We spent our day going to Sesame Place with our family and wanted a bite to eat after. I will say we weren't the best dressed given our day however, I feel like we were targeted for this reason from the beginning. We had a party of 6 and we knew that mandatory tip was included before going. That did not stop us since we were looking for a delicious meal before driving back home. We ordered water as soon as we sat down since we had spent the day in the sun. From that moment, Mia rolled her eyes and didn't even ask how we were doing, not even a smile. Mia's attitude towards us was very unprofessional the entire time. She would come over very quickly and wouldn't ask if we needed anything or how we were doing. We had to ask her in the small time she would come over or ask someone else. We were celebrating my birthday and mentioned that but she didn't acknowledge it. The cherry on top was when we received our bill, it was $201 and some change. We gave $210 and the exact change in cash so we could recieve an even $10 back and leave it at the table even though the tip was already taken out. Mia brought back 9 dollars and 1 dollar in change back and honestly, it was petty. After that, we didn't leave anything extra and left feeling pretty upset with the overall service. It was disappointing for my family that our last part of our vacation ended like this. Money was not an issue for my family and it is disappointing to get judged when I have the same currency as everyone else paying inside. Unfortunately, I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone even though the food was truly delicious.

However, my rating is going down for this location due to the experience/service itself. We sat at the corner of the bar and didn't realize how much the servers and bartender reach OVER you. The bartender kept reaching over my plates and drinks to put orders on that mat I included a picture of. I understand that they need a place for set drinks but its so disrespectful to reach over people/their food so many times. This ruins the dining experience. No one wants people reaching over them while actively dining. I suggest the restaurant change this handoff location or close the corner seat to allow for this over reach. Second edit--the bartender ran out of some kind of wine, the general manager told him to top it off and mix it with another wine... that is just... wrong. You are ruining the flavor potentially for a customer by mixing two different wines because you ran out. I'd be upset if my drink was changed without me knowing. Editing this for the third time because wow--we will never be returning to this location. The male bartender dropped off the check, both me and my wife tried to tell him we were READY to pay (we had been waiting a minute to get their attention for the check) and the dude walks off. Fine, the register is around the corner. We get up, my wife goes to stand at the register to pay as the bartenders were nowhere to be found (I had sat down on the bench in front of the hostess while I waited for her). When the bartender reappears, he starts to PANIC when he doesn't see us sitting at the other end of the bar, completely ignoring the fact that my wife is standing right THERE at the edge in front of the register trying to pay. He apparently (per the general manager's words) had gone to look for the other bartender because he was scared we left without paying. What the hell. The manager had ended up going to the register to reprint the check to hand to my wife but mind you, my wife is HOLDING THE CHECK ON THE LITTLE BOARD THEY GAVE US reiterating "I'm trying to pay the check, your bartender walked off on us." The manager brushes it off says "no problem" and checks her out. It upset my wife watching these two bartenders assume we left without paying so I go back to speak with the manager about the situation. When I speak to the manager she defends her staff freaking out because we weren't seated on the bar anymore (no because your bartenders keep wandering off so we waited at the damn register) and gave a bad excuse of an apology for the experience. She even goes to acknowledge that it's not our first time dining here... she RECOGNIZES us. So yes, it's quite hurtful to assume a) we walked off on a check and b) not even get a proper apology for the misunderstanding on their part when my wife was WAITING AT THE REGISTER TO BE ACKNOWLEDGED AND CHECK OUT. I can't begin to comprehend why they would assume we would walk out on the check when my wife was standing 6 feet from our original spot on the bar in front of their eyes. I'm going to assume it was a form of discrimination based on the fact that we were wearing comfortable clothes and not "fancy" attire or dressed out for a Michelin star dinner when Pizzo's is casual dining to us. Do fucking better.

They start at 9.99 for a cheese and 10.99 for 1 topping. I had their steak and cheese sub. My one wish is that they will offer white American or provolone. That would put the cherry on top! The first was when I was about six-years old and I ate some of the best pizza in my life at that point on the patio during a sunny day while my older sister and her girl scout troop had a party event. The second, my Dad was when my Dad treated me to a mouth-watering and fresh Turkey submarine sandwich after my Confirmation, when I was about 16-years-old. Those were the days, yes, indeed. Forward to present day, and this deli is still unequivocally, one of my favorites spots to grab lunch or dinner. The staff consisting of a very diligent family are always polite and loquacious. The family certainly takes pleasure in making sure all customers are welcomed with open arms. During the past decade or so, the quality of food has not deteriorated. The pizza is always fresh, and hits the spot. I suggest ordering the 20-inch or 28-inch for events such as a movie night, boxing fight-night matches, or a birthday party for your son and/or daughter or for a family-gathering event in general. The crust from the pizza is thick and slightly crunchy...sometimes, I tear off some parts of the crust and save it for later. The selection of toppings are plenty and just enough to create the pizza to your liking. I would say the toppings are from the old-school style of pizza joints....ya know, that 1980's-style feel. As for the sandwiches, I have to refrain from ordering two! The bread is moist, delicious and pairs well with the choice of sub you select. I must warn you, it can be overwhelming with all the choices the deli has to serve. The Philly Steak is one, if not the best I have consumed in San Diego county. The other subs I suggest are: Turkey, ham and cheese, a Turkey sub, Pastrami sandwich and the gyro. I sincerely hope you will not be disappointed when you try what the deli has to offer. In addition, for the appetizers, the French fries, fried zucchini, and cheese garlic bread are supreme and premium side snacks to add if you are feeling voracious and ravenous. And, who knows, you may see Mario Lopez there during your visit. *Side Notes*: Parking lot is never crowded to a point where you become frustrated, the front entrance is visible and you will not miss the turn to drive inside the parking lot, and the establishment is easy to locate off the 805 freeway or if you are traveling from the roads.
