It was lightly crispy and perfectly seasoned. The squid was tender and cooked well. In addition to squid, there were also a number of fried shrimp and peppers scattered throughout the plate. One order of arancini came with 2 balls. The arancini was also very good. The complimentary bread was also delicious and fluffy. I had the ossobuco alla milanese, a slow cooked veal shank served with a Milanese style saffron risotto. The veal was tender and flavorful. The risotto felt authentic and was cooked al dente. A handful of my friends got the risotto al funghi porcini, which was also flavorful and al dente. I also really liked the carbonara and fettuccine gamberi e pancetta. I really enjoyed my meal at Ristorante Illando and would gladly come back.
