Seems that the kitchen is slow getting food out to the patrons. However the food is tasty. I had the Club Panini with fries. If the customer service was just a little better I would give a better rating but for know the food carries 3 Stars !!

Fries did not have enough salt, which is unheard of ( generally speaking the main problem with fries is that they have too much salt right?). Inventor of the poutine or not, I thought it was a fun place! Lots of seating, friendly staff, and a stacked menu. It's quirky that they put the cheese at the bottom. A worthwhile tourist stop.

Took a whole hour just to get the food, sitting there wondering if they forgot about you. Definitely not worth the wait or the money.

Since we were driving by Drummondville and I had been here before, we decided to stop in so I could treat my wife and daughter to some amazing poutine :). There are a lot of different options but we stuck with the regular and absolutely loved it. The fries were great, the brown sauce amazing, and the chunks of cheese curds were huge with the perfect amount of "squeak" :) The dining area is enormous and the customers just kept flowing in with only a small wait as the employees kept everyone efficiently flowing through. It may be "typical" fare, but the food tasted amazing :). Well worth stopping in!

First they put a layer of curds on the bottom of the bowl (no where else did this from chain places to supposed old school restaurants) then the fresh hot fries then more curds (A LOT) on that then the gravy. The cheese curds squeaked when you ate them. It's set up like a Subway sandwich place, cafeteria tray style so nothing special inside but who cares with poutine this good? They people inside mostly spoke French but also could switch to English and were friendly. They had lots of tables and booths inside and at least 8 tables with umbrellas outside. This is just off the main route heading back to US border for us going home to CT. Will absolutely be our last Canadian stop now before crossing the border. They also have a cheese and gourmet shop attached and they were selling fresh corn in a kiosk in the parking lot (which you can't take back across unfortunately because it looked great). And everyone purchased these cream filled smallish donuts so we probably missed a trick but we were so over full of sweets and pastries from our Montréal/Quebec vacation we just couldn't get any. Highly recommend.

Of course having a true québécois best friend helps as her family lives in Kingsley so they know the best cheese shops so this weekend I got to try the SQUEAKIEST curd cheese of life. If it's not made right there on the spot it's a disgrace wise words from my best friend. You can get Kingsley or guillaume back home but once it gets transported from fresh to cold and hot and cold and hot it just turns out MEH and loses its beautiful taste. So do yourselves a favour and make the drive to this location and grab a large bag for $8 dollars to go and then take a seat and order a poutine.

We started with drinks. Pooh's dad (Andre) and I had Bloody Caesars, Pooh had a beer and Marie a house cocktail. The cocktail was too floral. Our Caesars were great. For appetizers Marie and Pooh had mussels, Andre, a Caesar salad and I had the French Onion soup. Andre's salad was a good size; Pooh and Marie enjoyed their mussels and my soup was very tasty Before the appetizers arrived a panier of warm bread and buns with a delicious olive oil and parmesan cheese sauce was brought to the table We ordered the Table D'hôte. Marie, Pooh and Andre had the fillet mignon and I had the bavette (flank steak). The cook on the steaks varied. Pooh and I ordered medium-rare; Marie ordered medium and Andre ordered medium-well. Pooh's steak was medium and my steak was medium-rare at the thinner end and very rare (almost blue) at the thicker end. Pooh, Marie and Andre had a baked potato without any butter and I had french fries. We shared two bottles of Italian red wine which was an excellent choice for the steaks. For dessert we had the brownie with ice cream. The brownie was dry - we needed the ice cream to help get it down. Pooh, Andre and I had a Brazilian coffee to wash everything down. Marie was driving. The service was excellent. Our server Édouard was very attentive; always checking on us. He was pleasant and had a friendly smile. Our glasses of water were always filled without us asking. The bathroom was unisex.

We came here at about 3:00 for a late lunch. Pretty much nobody there, just a few tables wrapping up their meals. Their pizzas are freshly prepared everyday with delicious flavors. Their salads are delicious, like a creamy Caesar salad. Their beef soup was very rich and delicious. Plus, a bilingual staff! We got the 6 inch make it yourself pizza with a side of pasta. The pizza had great appearance, and great flavor. Try it with bacon and sausage and mushrooms. The pasta on the side is prepared with a spicy meat sauce. Very good. They also have stuffed burgers on their menu, which were really delicious and creative. Plus a pickle... You know the one, it bursts with freshnesh and flavour with its blend of tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, and kalamata olives. We opted for the Gyro pita which was pretty good. The meat wasn't cooked on the spit but likely slapped on a hotplate or heated in the microwave. So, okay... we are a million miles from Greece and not much closer to a thriving Greek community so we accepted packaged gyro meat to be our fate. The traditional greek salad was fresh but the lack of greek olives in the salad was more disappointing than the gyro meat situation. That said, for the area this is a brilliant addition to the restaurant scene and I look forward to trying their souvlaki and their calamari. FYI, for allergy reasons the calamari are fried in oil that is not shared with other foods. Because of this it will take a bit longer to heat the oil for this special order which, I am told, is worth the wait. The owner and staff are the nicest people you would ever want to meet.

The service is great and super friendly, English and French not one of those Quebec proud places where they stare at you for speaking English. I spoke French but to my friends in English of course. My poutine was a medium it had chicken green peas and dark gravy. I really enjoyed the fries the cheese was super squeaky and gravy was great. It was my first time having this style poutine it was super filling so if you're going to tackle this alone go for a mini... ( it's about the size of 2 small circle white cups ) from normal poutine spots. Hot dog with smoked meat was lacking texture and wasn't as good as the coleslaw one.
