The manager cancelled my order, shut the window on me, and yelled at me when I honked as he walked away, because he thought the deal I had was not accurate. He treated me like a scam. It was a deal for T Mobile reward users. Never would I thought I would get chased off and probably banned for getting charged $1.78 and the tip to round up to $2.02. He stated "groupon". I can't believe I'd be treated this way ever. Now, I'm scared. Am I banned from this place? I couldn't help, but cry just on a normal trip to pick up my food. This is life wrecking. OK, at the time of me writing this, I see that this place has pretty awful reviews. I haven't read other folks' accounts, but I can tell you that I was pleasantly surprised after my experience. My friend and I stopped by to place an order for pick up, which we would then swing back and collect about 20 minutes later. When we arrived to collect the pizza, the person manning the drive-thru was confused and couldn't find our order. I presented the receipt. More confusion followed, and eventually a person who I assumed to be the manager arrived to take hold of the situation. Apparently the pizza was never prepared, and this manager person apologized profusely and hooked us up with free soda and bottled water. About five minutes later, he had our pizza in hand and all was well. Maybe some people would get salty over the fact that their order was delayed by a few minutes over some mishap (and I nearly was), but the way they handled the screw up spoke volumes. I probably won't ever be back in Cortez, let alone visiting a Pizza Hut if I do, but these guys deserve credit for owning a mistake, fixing it, and then making up for it. read more

Tried ordering with the Pizza Hut app- it was impossible to use, and it would not allow us to look at their menu. My address is less than a mile away- after a few attempts I was told, that there are no Pizza Huts near me. I tried to order on my laptop and my wife on the Pizza Hut app- we both kept getting apologies for "too much traffic" errors. We would have just called in IF we could look at the menu; however we were blocked from even looking at a menu until the system allowed us in. After Pizza Hut searched my address multiple times I was told that I was too far away even to pick up take out. Online is completely 100% totally unusable. Also now looking at the other reviews this Pizza Hut seems to be a dud. read more

Since we left before ordering, I can't say whether the food was good or not. The reason we left? We walked in at 1:28 and an employee walked by and didn't say high or anything. We thought we needed to seat ourselves? WRONG!!! We were TOLD we'd be seated in a minute. Guess what? We were then directed to the same table. Grouchy woman left with a huff dropping menus on the table and walked away. My husband started to walk towards the lunch buffet to check out the food before we ordered. We went in for sit down pizza tonight. Trouble was the sign at the door says wait to be seated. No one came to seat us. The server walked by several times and never acknowledged us and the employee behind the register saw us. He never came over or sent a server. We figured after ten minutes standing there we were in the wrong restaurant for dinner that night. We ordered delivery to our hotel at the Hampton and the girl that answered the phone was polite and said our delivery would arrive in 45 minutes. The delivery came early, the delivery driver was nice, the pizza was as ordered and they even gave us napkins, cheese and peppers that we had forgotten to ask for over the phone. This is our local Pizza Hut (the only one within 60 miles). The have great food, but this is the second time they have TOTALLY screwed up a to-go order for us. They told my husband that the order wasn't ready and they would bring it out. After he waited 10-15 minutes he was told to go to the drive up line. 3 cars ahead of him. We had ordered a pizza, bread sticks w/ extra marinara, and cinnamon sticks. First, the dipshit at the window tried to just give him the pizza. He asked where the rest of the order was. After another wait, she returned with the bread sticks. He had to do a third request to get the cinnamon sticks and extra marinara he had already paid for. This is not the first time...in fact, this is two times in a row that they have screwed up this bad. Maybe Domino's doesn't taste as good, but at least they get your order right - the FIRST TIME! This was a horrible experience. We went in to eat. We were seated and asked if they would take an online coupon. They said yes. The waitress came back with our drinks and informed us that the manager said in order to use the coupon we would have to leave to eat our pizza. The manager's name is Mike and he actually kicked us out of the restaurant for using a coupon he told us we could use, because he said it was carry out only. We had to pay for our drinks separate, wait at the table for the pizza to be done and then get up and leave in order to take our pizza home and eat it. I told Mike he has 1 star on yelp which is the worst rating of any restaurant in Cortez. He is running people away so he must be proud of his 1 star rating. He has been the manager there for two years. The owner must not care either, because if you read the other reviews it has been bad for a long time. We won't be back. This is a buffet Pizza Hut, but you can order pizzas customized for you. We arrived around noon (first mistake) and ordered the buffet (second mistake). My son ordered a personal pan pizza instead of the buffet. DH went to the buffet first and came back with a full plate. I went and there was NO PIZZA or SALAD anywhere to be seen! I had to wait a full 10 minutes for more pizza and salad! My son's pizza came and he ate it. I was left at the table eating alone! The men's bathroom was closed and the ladies' bathroom was filthy. My son had to go next door to the DQ to pee. It was very, very busy and they were way understaffed. I thought PH would be a good choice for this little town, but obviously we should have gone somewhere else! read more

Complete crap! I've ordered here from time to time and they've forgotten extra sauce cups I paid for no big deal until tonight I ordered a large pizza and upon arrival the entire pizza (sauce, toppings, and cheese) was flung to the right side of the box completely off of the pizza.
