Empty dining room. Silent phones. In hindsight, this was less a restaurant and more a haunted museum exhibit titled "What Went Wrong." We slide into a booth where the seating appears to have lost a long, brave battle with time. Duct tape bravely holds together what used to be upholstery, while exposed springs jab me repeatedly, as if the booth itself is trying to warn me to leave. Message received--too late. We order like a normal family expecting to eat... you know... together: three medium pizzas (buffalo chicken, meat, margherita) and a meatball calzone. What followed was not a meal, but a culinary relay race. Each pizza arrived about five minutes apart, with the calzone bringing up the rear like it missed the memo. This is particularly impressive given the massive pizza ovens visible in the kitchen. Not sure if only one item is allowed in at a time or if timing food is just considered a fun optional skill here. We came to share a family meal, not reenact Top Chef: Separate Courses Edition. Then there was the margherita pizza, which apparently is now a conceptual dish. Cheese was present only in theory. Presumably, this is part of a bold new cost-cutting initiative called "Imagine the Mozzarella." The meat and buffalo chicken pizzas were fine--no applause, but no boos. The calzone, however, was a marvel of contradiction: beautifully toasted on the outside, while the inside remained cold and sad, with cheese that clearly had never been formally introduced to heat. We sent it back for further coaching. After 15-20 minutes, the calzone still hadn't resurfaced, so we asked--politely--to cancel it and remove it from the bill. Everyone else had finished eating and was ready to go. We were told it would be "out soon," to which we again requested cancellation. Then came a plot twist: they offered to box it up and not charge us. Fine. Cool. Done. Five minutes later, the waitress returned to inform us that since it was almost ready, they would now be charging us after all. Bold strategy. We objected. The manager eventually appeared and decided the calzone would be thrown away, but we could still take it home for free. A true win-win-win--except for logic. Overall, this was an extremely unpleasant experience--sadly, not our first here. This place has gone so far downhill it should issue altitude sickness warnings. Management appears completely clueless about how a service business is supposed to function. We won't be back and strongly recommend you skip it too. Do yourself a favor and head down the street to Compania at The Mill instead--which was actually our first choice, but shockingly was closed at 4:00pm on Super Bowl Sunday. A pizza place. Closed. At kickoff. Apparently, bad decisions were everywhere today.

The chicken was one decent piece for a person, but split between my daughter and me was less than I had hoped for. Thankfully, the salad was a decent appetizer. When the crab cakes Benedict came, we were shocked to see a mess of scrambled eggs on a thin crab cake with an English muffin under. We always ask for hollandaise on the side because that sauce can go several different ways of bad, but in this instance we were genuinely confused how a benedict could come with anything other than poached eggs! The flavor was okay, but the texture and presentation left a lot to be desired. My wife only finished half of hers and didn't touch the limp fries. You can probably figure out how I made do with food in this instance. Our kids, meanwhile, devoured their food like we had starved them their whole lives, so on the plus side we didn't have to hear kids whining about food! Service was polite but very slow. I don't know that we'll be back. With the abundance of good restaurants in our area, it's going to be hard to justify returning here.

Either someone in the kitchen dumped a butt load of salt onto the pizza or the dough was made with too much salt, because all I could taste was SALT. The toppings, when peeled off, were quite edible with no salty taste, so I can only conclude that the pie was either sabotaged in the kitchen or the dough it was made from is garbage.
