There is a warmth here that comes from having a small restaurant with a lot of regulars rather than a large establishment in the middle of town - The owner and his wife remember you once you have visited a couple of times and greet you with a friendly conversation. We have spent more than one evening ending with the owner sat with us drinking wine and talking about times passed, or recipes, or whatever. Please don't overlook this fine little Italian - I know it is a little out of the way when compared to the larger places in town or in the larger villages such as Harborne, but it really is worth the trip. We did enjoy the food but preferred their Moseley restaurant better. We had the desert sharing platter, it was nice but I did have one of the best deserts I've ever had at their Moseley restaurant so it was going to be hard to beat... The service is good because the staff are always friendly but when they're busy like on Friday and Saturday nights it's like they don't have to time for you so try and get through as many customers as possible. I like the fact that they do delivery as it makes things so much easier if you're too lazy to cook or don't have any food in the house. There's no maximum wait on the delivery service but I can't say I've waited longer than forty five minutes; not bad for a busy night eh?
