This simple pizza restaurant which is part of a nationwide chain would never be my first choice for pizza and pasta on the High Street, but nevertheless, it is quite pleasant and family friendly. For pricing, for authenticity and for atmosphere, I'm afraid that it can in no way compete with San Lorenzo, just a few doors down. This outlet is quite bright and clinical - alright during the day, but not cosy enough when it comes to evening for my liking. It has a fairly sterile atmosphere to me. We went near Christmas and even then it failed to inspire. They do have a good kids menu which is excellent value, but the adult offerings are pretty bog standard and are quite expensive compared to other local independent pizza places. Service was mediocre - staff weren't as attentive as I would like even though the restaurant was quiet - it took quite a while to pay the bill. All in all, it was ok - but I would only go here if you have a discount voucher or San Lorenzos is full! read more
