Once we got to the dessert I ordered a coffee for myself and a vanilla ice cream for my daughter the lady came back and said there was no vanilla ice cream, I said that's fine just give her chocolate, she came back again and said the was no ice cream at all and the delivery would be 15+ mins I didn't have that long to wait so I said just give her something else and include it in the set meal, she went to ask the manager, and some horrible man came asking what my problem was, I explained I didn't have time to wait, he refused me another dessert. Ok so can you take £1 off the bill then? No! He point blank refused it all and said "if you want the dessert you will have to wait for the ice cream to be delivered" I just felt like crying in front of my kids after the way he spoke. (I'm not going to complain about mediocre coffee with a deal this good- should have chosen the ice cream). The ice cream is vanilla - that's the choice. The kids also chose sodas, which seemed to be included in the price. Service was friendly and it seemed like people were dressed up to go there. The place is cozy and has lots of space. The credit card system was down, so we had to get cash from the ATM across the street, but that was the only issue we had. I assume that doesn't happen much.
