So here's the thing. I genuinely believe that if you are doing a job then do it like you love it. Even if you don't. So to have a waitress who slouches around, shuffling her feet like she has a tonne weight strapped to her shoes things are not off to a good start. Throw in the dropping the menus in front of you without saying anything, waiting for an eternity before coming back to take your order and then simply replying "We don't have that" when we asked for something without making any effort to apologise or offer alternatives and we really had a bit of a sour taste in our mouth when we left. Barely cracked a smile either and there was the odd huff or two as well... So, my best advice is that if you're doing a job you don't want to be doing, or can't at least make it look like you do, then you're really in the wrong one.
Food wise there's not much to fault. The bruschetta con fungi is delicious, as was the Honeycomb slice. Pizza was nice too, albeit fairly typical chain restaurant food. It's the food that won the stars, and it's a shame that the service was so dire. A real let down and if I was in charge of this outlet I would question my recruitment strategy, as great as the food was I'm not sure I'd come back here if I'm going to be treated with the same level of disrespect in the future. read more
