Sadly Giovanni passed away a few years back but the restaurant is still going strong. There was a period when they stopped selling pizzas and opened a pizzeria next door. I think they were trying to keep then main restaurant more a la carte, however in my opinion this alienated a lot of existing customers. The pizzeria was nice but did not have the nice atmosphere of the main restaurant and we were usually the only people eating in there. I am very glad that they have closed the pizzeria and reinstated pizzas on the menu, they have also refurbished the restaurant and it looks a lot more modern and family friendly. The food is a wonderful as ever and the service is brilliant. I cannot fault them at all and I am pleased to be able to eat in the main restaurant once more!
