I always goto Pizza Delight in Gander when I'm in town. I never miss the opportunity to go there however last night was a disappointment. The food was very good as usual however the restaurant was a complete mess. Our table was left dirty and there was food left under our chairs. Across from our table a little boy had vomited and it was left there the whole time and they even seated more people at the same table and walked around it. One couple had been seated and left again to go elsewhere. It appears that there was one waitress in training. Both of them served tables together and it didn't seem to be any other waitress working. Whenever I am back in central Newfoundland, Pizza Delight is my first stop from the airport. The service is always great at this location and their Garlic Cheese Fingers (w/ donair sauce) cannot be replicated anywhere else. Pizza Delight is a true eastern Canadian treasure! read more

Unacceptable service, they took forever to seat us, then they took forever to bring us menus, then when the girl came to serve us we said we weren't ready so she said that's fine and asked if we wanted drinks, we gave her our drink choices and she went on. Then when she brought us back our drinks she asked if we were ready we said no. She said okay and went on. No sooner than 1 minute later she was back. We got her to go on again, at this point we are all feeling rushed and uncomfortable.
