The staff were super friendly and gave great recommendations! We opted for Donair Dippers (think mozzarella sticks), sweet chili heat pizza, and a classic pepperoni (kiddo request). While waiting for the pizzas we oogled over the menu including leaded and unleaded milkshakes in amazing varieties (think raspberry tea, eggnog, root beer licorice, birthday cake... the list goes on!) and a whack ton of craft beers! We also played Connect Four while waiting and drew on the walls with chalk. They also had one of those live time Facebook Like counters (think old school clock with flip numbers). We gave it a whirl and sure enough it updated live! And just as we wrapped up games the food was ready! Chris, the kitchen supervisor, was thoughtful and gave us some plates and napkins for the car ride home! We sat on the outdoor bench for a few minutes to enjoy the fresh summer air and try a few bites. Everyone enjoyed the donair dippers - not greasy at all! The pizzas were also given two thumbs up by the crew (including my super pizza picky kiddos). The crust was fluffy and soft, the cheese plentiful and stretchy, and the toppings just right - not greasy at all. I would have personally liked more spice aka heat but otherwise very yummy. The bison meat was lovely and a real treat! Prices here are a bit higher than I'm used to; however, the quality was outstanding! I totally blanked on asking if we could have done 1/2 and 1/2 pizzas. Moe's is owned and operated by the same lovely team who own and operate Cilantro & Chive! You have to check them out if you haven't yet - amazing quality and unique offerings much like Moe's. I am certain we will be popping by here again the next time we roadtrip to Lacombe - We must save room to try a funky leaded milkshake! PS Be sure to check out their funky rainbow mural wall outside on the East side of the building! This place got it right. Standard half inch thick crust with a high rim and generous toppings. Crust was baked well and cheese was nicely browned. About 10 of us were at my dad's house visiting and helping out. When it was time for dinner, dad recommended I go pick up some pizza at this local place. I ordered 3 Greek salads and 4 pizzas: 2 XL House special pizzas, 1 XL cheese and 1 gluten free pizza. We all enjoyed some salad and pizza, and there was leftovers as well. The pizza was excellent, very tasty, full of cheese and generous toppings. The pizza ingredients were tasty and fresh. The crust was thicker but very nicely risen and flavorful. The greek salads were good as well (the only thing missing was olives, which is usual for Greek salad). The staff was very kind and nice to speak with. When I arrived they were busy with a lot of pick up orders. We waited just a few more minutes for our pizza to finish and we got them piping hot to bring home. The facility is small, and clearly does a lot of delivery and take out, although they have a few tables for people who wanted to sit down and eat a meal at the pizza shop. The prices were quite reasonable for a small town like this. Overall, Stettler Pizza has surprisingly excellent pizza, warm and gracious staff, and reasonable prices. When I return for family visits, I will be back.

The eating area is about 1/4 of the building. Kitchen seems way too big for this space. Employees couldn't hear us over the equipment when they were at the back. And we had cause to attract their attention several times. Staff were a little...confused....but polite enough. I had a large donair and my kids shared a medium ham & pineapple pizza. With our 3 cans of pop it rang in under $30. Not bad value. Pizza was decent. I liked the crust. Now... The donair. Meat was a little spicy which was honestly the only "good" thing. Luke warm. Veggies seemed greasy. Sweet sauce was really not noticeable. Side of garlic sauce was not very good. Size for price was reasonable. If this were my local shop... I'd likely shop around. As this is Wetaskawin and for all I know...the only shop in town...I would have to guide them to a meal I would want to come back for. My mission continues!
