I've been wanting to try this place since it opened. Finally got in over the weekend. Frankly, the food was okay and very overpriced. Small to miniature portions for some items. $30 average per entree (even pizza) and only average quality. Kebabs were small with a tiny side of sautéed vegetables, no rice or pita. Much better and cheaper Mediterranean restaurants in SD. On top of that, a $30 corkage fee to bring your own bottle of wine. 4 people with entrees and appetizers, 1 cocktail $233! I've been to this place more than a few times so far and felt the need of talking about them for a bit. Chef's two man team were on time, friendly, enthusiastic and arrived with fantastic attitudes. As the professionals they were, setting up was a breeze. They were able to set up shop on my driveway and presented service in my backyard without any issues. As for the pizzas, hands down the best ever! Guests couldn't stop going back for more. Chef suggested the Magic Mushrooms pizza (white creamy sauce, fresh mozzarella, roasted mushrooms, garlic, parsley, black truffle oil) as part of my catering package.
