Great family pizza place, top pizza beats any other major brands nearby. Don't deliver but worth picking up.

Luigi's - Impressive menu and portions

Looking back to the 80's, Luigi's used to be a popular pub, its in a great location at a major intersection with plenty of parking. The full bar is still present but the place has had a complete overhaul. Upon entry you are greeted by one of the many friendly staff that work there, we had reservations and were shown to our table right away, even though we were a good 30 minutes early. We got drinks whilst we waited for some of our party that were late arriving, the wait staff were completely unfazed by this and had no problem waiting, which was nice. We ordered a multitude of things and let me say there were no complaints from any of our party. I had the garlic pizza bread as an app (you'll have to share with the whole table as its very filling!) which was fantastic, they have a wonderful pizza selection and each one that we ordered was absolutely perfect, great crust baked just right and the sauce bold and robust, the calzones come with a side of dipping sauce was a beautiful mild tomato sauce that had a hint of cream, i recommend asking for a side of this for your garlic cheese pizza bread, yummy. The chicken, seafood and pasta dishes were unbelievable, cooked to order and severed piping hot, and cooked to a standard you'd expect in a city center bistro, high standards here for sure. The amount of specials available, in addition to the substantial menu made choosing what to have a real chore, but that's not a bad problem to have i think, especially when you consider everything we ordered was so damn good. Attentive and friendly staff, incredible food along with very reasonable pricing will make sure this place will be buzzing at the weekends, i'm going to go out on a limb here and say you will certainly need a reservation over the weekend to ensure you get a table. We were there on a normal mid week night and the place 90% full, a wonderful testament to a truly great spot, so if your looking for a hearty, authentic Italian dish, go here!

I obviously do need to get out more, but I find myself in Morley and a gaggle of friends in Cucina Café Bar. Morley isn't really known for it's wine bar and bistro culture so I'm pleasantly surprised to find such a corking Italian. Modern in design and an awesome outdoor terrace area, it's a venue that stands out in the middle of the town. It's a brilliant place to chin wag outside with a fine bottled beer or latte. Obviously, it's a tad cold for that sort of behaviour at the moment so we sat inside and decided on what pizza to engage with. Now pizzas are a great thing but only when done well, so I held my judgement. I need not have bothered, top notch traditional pizza done like they should be. Sweet. I loved my calzoni and my meat feasting friends didn't have a bad thing to say about the main steaks that were soon deposited in their grateful bellies. Now I'm starting to resemble Mr Blobby from my food fest binge-athon so I declined the lure of pudding but hell did they look good. As for the service, no complaints here. A gang of six of us were well looked after and left us to concentrate on enjoying our rather excellent conversations on when we rule the world. Incidentally, when we do I shall pass a law insisted that Friday's become compulsory pizza days and I wouldn't mind that involving Cucina one bit.

Serving decent enough food including: pizza, pasta, risotto, nice steak and sausage options (often part of daily specials) along with some vegetarian choices too. While you're in there why not check out their selection of classic VHS videos, and maybe take along a few drinks with your pals. Who can beat a cult movie, few beers, good pals & great pizza? Whether you're looking for an bite to eat during the day, early evening, or after a big night out their pizza slices are certainly big enough to satisfy the appetite. Prices are pretty reasonable at around £4 per serving - but be assured that there's no skimping on the quality of the ingredients. They've got a good selection to choose from, so if you're a pizza fan then you'll absolutely love Kitschen. A new addition to Leeds that is sure to quickly establish itself as a regular hang out for me!

Kitschen follows fine traditions of street food, serving up slices of hot pizza, filled sandwiches, fully-laden doughballs, and from what can only be witchcraft, tea and coffee for 50p, We went with the latter two this time, our doughballs smothered with cheese, tomato sauce, and roasted vegetables, and were quickly devoured, and the coffees followed suit quickly. The doughballs were lovely and crisp on the outside, and once cracked open were lovely and fluffy, complimenting the rich toppings well, and the coffee was great as well; actual filter coffee, not reconstituted instant malarkey. We were also lucky enough to sample one of their experimental calzones that they plan to add to the menu soon, this one stuffed with salami and spinach, and I eagerly await till I can get another one! This is well worth a trip to if you're hanging around the Corn Exchange!
