The sausage and onion pizza is phenomenal. The lasagna was great too. The staff is nice but the music is old school Frank Sinatra which didn't set well with me. I will definitely go back for the pizza but the other menu items are too vast to choose from, much like a diner menu, so I don't think I will try to order anything other than the pizza.

Haven't been here in decades, and it was a pleasant surprise! Food was quite good, as was the table bread! We had various (huge) Calzones and Fettuccine Alfredo, and ended with Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake and coffee! The service was excellent, thank you Oscar & Fabian! All needs met, very attentive and very accommodating! My additional "to go" order was incorrect, but they were very pleasant in correcting it, but the trip back was a bit inconveniencing. Wish they gave the place a little facelift, could definitely use a little updating. (The bathrooms were immaculate clean- a bonus, and tell tale sign of their pride.) Will be back to try more dishes!

We came here to treat our child's friends for a birthday get together after watching a movie. The staff seated us immediately and we were treated well. We ordered two pies of pizza which came out relatively quickly. The pizza was good (a bit on the salty side) but good nonetheless. The restaurant itself seemed to be a "classic/dated" restaurant from the 80s or 90s. Very clean, but not very well lit unless you are sitting by the window.

8/31/22. A life long friend and I were in Yonkers and decided to visit Pizza Beat; for us it was nostalgic. For decades we went there with our girlfriend's who became our wives. The kids we brought along are now in their late 30's and older. For the most part it's still the same building. There have been renovations that are improvements. It's all new staff and they're doing a good job.

Food is ok. I wasn't really wowed with it even though my friends were talking about this place for awhile. My baked clams had no flavor. The Caesar salad was very soggy with dressing. The garlic bread with cheese was alright.

Met my bro for a quick lunch here. Been coming here for sooo long. Always consistently good. Never a bad dish.

Been coming here for more than a decade, the food and service have never failed. Wifey had shrimp and broccoli over linguini, she didnt order her usual shrimp oreganata.., according to her as expected the pasta was great. I had the grilled rib eye steak with roasted potatoes and mixed veggies., it was ok., it wasnt dry however i asked for medium but they made it well done, it was a little chewy, definitely not the best steak. My son had their signature sausage pizza, as expected it was very good., my daughter had her penne with butter sauce and chix fingers, and she liked it very much. Fried. Calamari as usual is crispy and tasty. But the highlight of the night was the chocolate souffle, it is a must to have after your meal. Everytime we eat here we feel like we are at home having home cook meal. The wait staff were very attentive a d definitely coming back this month.

They offer practically every variety of fish prepared in all different methods. Some with Asian flare, others more on the traditional American side. Whatever you're in the mood for they have it! I honestly can't even recommend a specific dish because they are all amazing. The staff is also amazing! Super friendly and come ready with any suggestions or questions you have about the menu. Don't sleep on the soufflé! You have to try it! First of all, when do you ever see a soufflé on a menu, more over when is it actually done to perfection? It's a perfect end to an evening. It's not the most fancy of places, actually it's a little crowded on a weekend night, but the service and food are top notch so it's well worth the visit! Would highly recommend for any fish lovers!

The avocado and shrimp appetizer used to be a normal, generous size, and now the portion is practically half the size. The same goes for the crab cake, which has gone from a substantial portion to almost bite-size. The service was good, but unfortunately, the significant decrease in portion sizes and overall quality makes it hard to justify returning especially for the prices.

Only the finest restaurants truly know how to make Old Fashions and no one else makes a better one than the Sea Fire Grill. I love fried, crisp calamari and theirs was particularly good. My friend had colossal shrimp and loved it. I sampled one, and I concur with him. We each had the lobster bisque soup which was superb. The best I have ever had. I had the New York Sirloin which was mouthwatering It was so good that after each bite, I just sat back in my chair and savored it as I slowly chewed. For sides, I had the fingerling potatoes and shared the broccoli rabe. My friend had the roasted Mediterranean branzino, that he went crazy over. We topped everything off with a delicious chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream. The does not even scratch the surface of what dining is like here. It is the ambiance, the beautiful, relaxing view of the Hudson River and the New York and New Jersey shorelines. It is the knowledge each worker has about the food and drinks served. Inside, the restaurant's decor...well, you will not find it better anywhere else. I cannot wait to return in the fall when the setting sun turns the Hudson orange. Excellent restaurant and staff.

Beautiful room, beautiful views, and a kitchen that can't back either up…read more We arrived to a mostly empty dining room with gorgeous Hudson River views. After being offered a table in the center of the empty room, we asked for a window table and were seated at a four-top. Then the disorganization started: we were asked about water preference, handed a drink menu, and left for a good five minutes with no food menus while several waiters stood idle nearby. When our waiter arrived, he seemed surprised our reservation was for two, cleared the extra settings, and brought menus -- one of which was missing the appetizer page entirely. The food was hit-or-miss, mostly miss. The bright spots: an excellent mocktail, very good jumbo shrimp cocktail (nice touch serving remoulade, mignonette, and caper berries), and broccoli rabe that was legitimately the best thing on the table -- perfectly cooked, garlic and red pepper spot on. Now the rest. The Kumamoto oysters weren't served as cold as they should be, and one was fishy. My girlfriend's cocktail was mediocre. Her halibut had a mealy texture, and the gnocchi and fava beans alongside it were underseasoned. My $165 tomahawk arrived visibly overcooked -- enough that our waiter told the server to skip the usual tableside butter-basting to avoid cooking it further. I didn't send it back because my girlfriend's food was already down and I didn't want to eat alone twenty minutes later. Each slice had a half-inch gray band around the edge with only a narrow strip of medium-rare in the center. It carried an aged smell and flavor, but not the clean, nutty character of a properly dry- or wet-aged steak. For that price point, this cut should be the kitchen's signature. It wasn't close. The lobster mac was the low point: the lobster meat tasted fishy -- something I've rarely encountered anywhere -- and the dish had a dried-out crust suggesting it sat under a heat lamp before reaching us. Dessert, a lava cake, was genuinely delicious. Telling that the best course of the night was the one most likely not made in-house. Service throughout was disjointed: my empty drink was never addressed, and after dessert we sat roughly ten minutes before flagging someone down for the check. On the way out, I spoke with the two managers standing near the entrance -- making clear upfront that I wasn't seeking comps or special treatment, just giving honest feedback since I was unlikely to return. One manager simply stood and listened. The other, who introduced himself as "the boss," told me I should have spoken up during the meal, assured me they have a strong following with famous clientele, and disputed our initial wait time despite not having been in sight when it happened. Meanwhile, our waiter stood conspicuously within earshot listening to the conversation rather than tending his tables. Worth noting: we learned the same group runs Benjamin Steakhouse in Hartsdale, where I've had a similarly mediocre experience. The consistency across locations tells you this isn't an off night -- it's the standard. If you want to pay Manhattan steakhouse prices for inconsistent food and disorganized service -- with a great view -- this is your place. We won't be back.

An unexpected find at the seafood market!…read more If you're in Mamaroneck, put this spot on your radar. This place has it all--fresh seafood, plenty of prepared seafood, a sushi counter, and seafood cooked to order. I'm usually a CT style lobster roll but since I wasn't going to be eating this immediately and was going to eat by a pool I kept it to the ME style, a cold lobster salad on a bun. And wow... absolutely delicious! The lobster came in BIG chunks, just the right amount of mayo, and that buttery roll was toasted to perfection--crispy, golden and sturdy enough to hold all that lobster goodness. I also grabbed a Lady Dragon Roll (I'm pretty sure that was the name ), which was made fresh while I waited. Crunchy shrimp tempura on the inside with spicy salmon on the outside, Yum-0 There are a few tables inside if you want to eat there, plus outdoor tables on a little patio--perfect for a casual seafood lunch. I can't wait to go back and try their hot lobster roll next! I happened to see that they sometimes run specials, so be sure to check their social media. On this day, they were offering a lobster roll with French fries and coleslaw for around $29.95. Definitely an unexpected find that I'm happy I discovered!

My husband and I felt unwelcome, as though we didn't belong simply because we weren't familiar with the owner or staff. The couple seated beside us, who clearly knew the staff, received their drinks before we did and enjoyed constant attention and check-ins throughout their meal. Meanwhile, we received our food with no issues, but there was absolutely no follow-up to see how we were doing or whether we needed anything else. To make matters worse, we waited more than 30 minutes just to receive our check, while the couple next to us continued to receive what could only be described as first-class treatment. If you are not a familiar face or personally know the owner or staff, be prepared to feel like an outsider. It is disappointing that a restaurant would make paying customers feel as though they don't belong simply because they are not part of the familiar crowd. Excellent food is not enough to make up for poor hospitality. Every customer deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and equally valued. Unfortunately, the service we received made us feel like we were not welcome, and that is not an experience we should have to pay for. We left disappointed, and despite the quality of the food, the lack of professionalism and genuine hospitality makes it difficult to recommend this restaurant.
