5/5 for being a local Woman owned business! Girl Power!…read more I have to say that this is one of my fave DIY pizza places. I first got a taste of it when I was working for Monster Energy and we dropped off Monster and they gave us a complimentary pizza! Talk about customer service. It put such a good taste in my mouth that I've come back many times since. It doesn't hurt that I live very close. This place is located in the Save-On Jasper complex so it isn't hard to find parking. I usually create my own pizza because I am a vegetarian and I just like what I like. They have many different options for toppings and sauces. The toppings and sauces for the customized option will be charged separately but it still is reasonably priced. I don't think I've had to pay more than $20 to eat her, plus drink and tips. So not to bad. The pizza is made in a kind of assembly line and then it goes through a small oven and is served to you. The entire process is about 10 minutes, so pretty quick! It's an easy place to just stop and eat.

Staff is friendly though but it was dead which makes me wonder of the downsize has something to do with it? Anyways I got the City Market pizza and it was delicious! Well, well, well...I have finally tried the famous Versato's. What a Great pie. A deep dish of…read moreingredients pie for sure! The myths of here are not myths. Deeply layered toppings under the cheese. The thickness was wild. Their pepperoni has a nice taste to it. This was the second thing I noticed and really liked. I did order extra cheese and am happy I did. I wonder though what it is like without that and how noticeable of a difference it would be without. Lastly, it is like it's spoke of, and very expensive. But immediately after receiving it, one can see why. No other pizza anywhere will match this pies ingredients and thickness.

I ordered my usual ham and fresh tomato pizza tonight (medium) for delivery. This is the first time…read moreI have ever been disappointed in pizza from Royal Pizza. The tomatoes were a crunchy yellow color, except for one piece of tomato which was the normal red and normal ripe texture. It's very strange to see yellow crunchy toppings when you're expecting to see red tomatoes. Have to say it the look of the pizza and different texture and color of tomatoes turned me off. Hope it doesn't happen again, if I even order from them again.

Then they said that I swore at them, when I didn't (the cook lied), and THEY had auto charged me an 18% on top for a tip AFTER I had already approved a misrepresented total price, which only showed up on my receipt after I had tapped my credit card to pay the misrepresented total! A RIP OFF! They definitely DID NOT DESERVE that tip and since when do I not get a choice about giving a tip? !!

My nephew dropped by with pizza and wings from here . I had seen the place so many times but never…read moreordered from them. I dont know why I never tried them before tonight. Considering I am usually loyal to other places, I get a little reluctant to try something different- though i do explore types of foods I have never had before ( Eaten lamb , goat in the Middle East and it was amazing ). So when I asked him where he got it, I knew right away where it was. Let me say this.. I can see why this is not a franchised restaurant. The quality was great and cooked to perfection. Ill start with the wings. Most times when you order wings, they are pretty anorexic .. a lot of bone and no meat. These wings were the opposite. Lots of meat on those bones. We ate those really quick and jumped to the pizza. The pizza looked amazing - loaded with lots of cheese and toppings.. There was no skimping here at all . It was perfect ! The slices were huge and cut in equal proportions.. meaning there was no slice smaller than the others. Now I dont know what size he bought but it was massive and also very filling. I became a fan of this place for pizzas. There is one thing though that I noticed. The pizza box is just a plain white box. No advertisement or name placement on it at all. It may save them some bucks but it would be great if they had their name on it. Great Pizza though.. it's what is in the box that matters !

It's decent pizza. I would agree with another reviewer who states it's the cheesiest pizza, but…read morethey seem to skimp of the other toppings. It appears that all their meat is chicken or beef based... ie. they have beef bacon, not pork bacon. So this great for people who can't eat pork or don't like to (me). Prices are reasonable, but I think they need to be a tad more generous on the protein toppings. I would give 4 stars if they fixed that.

The delivery driver was lovely and rang the bell and stepped back far enough to make sure someone picked up the pizza. Awesome technique and well appreciated. With this social distancing, one really craves carbs after all! Decent crust thickness and good amount of toppings. I ordered a caesar salad not knowing it would be so big that it would be three meal potions. Sauce on that side and toast cane with it. Bit disappointed that the bacon on yet salad was the fake bacon bits but it was still good to have some greens! Got my milk intake too. Definitely a nice local pizza place to grab take out or get delivery.

They always have a special but the 3 mediums for $33 or $6 extra for large pizzas is their best deal by far. You can select from any of their specialty pizzas or create your own - up to 5 toppings. Our favorite is the pepperoni and meatball with extra... Wait, can you guess it? Pepperoni & Meatball - ding, ding - gold star! Okay, I've been watching too much toddler television but seriously - TRY IT! Papa John's also includes a dipping sauce (garlic butter...Mmm (except that it's not real butter) and banana peppers with every pizza. I find the order time at this location is not the same as what they say on the phone. But after being frustrated for waiting 45 minutes instead of the quoted 20 minutes the last time, I spoke with the manager who advised me that it is a call centre that takes the orders and gives quotes for pick up rather than the individual store. That's all fine and dandy except when you have two kids in the car - and one is a baby who screams and cries bloody murder when the vehicle isn't moving. I think good customer service would have warranted a discount for waiting an extra 25 minutes or a comment that they would be providing the feedback to corporate about the timing issue when the call centre gives a blanket pick up time of 20 minutes rather than utilizing a system that allows for individual store pick up/wait times. Glad Papa John's has made the trek across the border and we will continue to frequent them for last minute toddler approved meals :-) PS - This is a take out/delivery location only; NO on site dining.
