I love this place. The tomato sauce is really fresh crushed tomatoes. If you prefer a more marinara like sauce, this might not be your jam. BUT , and I like big buts, if you like fresh tomatoes, fresh ingredients, and brick oven pizza then my friend this IS your jam! The cheese is fantastic, the shop is small, all they do is make great pizza. Crust and dough is on point. Plus if you go to the Windermere Brewery you can order the pizza at the bar and they will deliver it, with paper plates and napkins. Disappointing. Only 5 star reviews preceded mine. And I thought over in the way to a 5 star review as well. The order process was simple. The staff was friendly and helpful, both on the phone to order and in person. The little building is beautifully situated and a very pleasant space. Great spot to sit outside and enjoy your pizza. For my first visit I ordered simple as I always do on a first visit to a new-to-me pizza restaurant. And Pizza 14 does ONLY pizza. I had plain cheese on half, pepperoni on a quarter and sausage/peppers on a quarter. The box was sturdy, not going to leak through. The pizza was gorgeous and I was so excited. But it had no taste. I didn't taste the sauce. I didn't taste any seasoning. Very bland. I hope this was an outlier. It wasn't bad. It simply wasn't good. Certainly not great as I expected. This Windermere pizza spot is heavenly. I don't know what they put in their pizza but it is GOOD! reminds me so much of the pizza from our honeymoon in Venice. The flavors are amazing, crust is perfectly crisp but still soft. Cheesy and sauces in the perfect portions. This is a take and eat kind of spot. No indoor seating available. They do have a few tables outside with umbrellas. Parking is located on the side of the building. The sweetest gentleman is always working and the owners are absolutely lovely. read more

Straight forward pizza joint with a limited menu and hours. Pizza 14 is located in a charming shared space building with a wrap around porch. You can call to order or walk in to the small shop to place your order. Their menu is simple- just pizza! We ordered a white pizza and took a seat outside on the porch to wait. It was quickly delivered to us with paper plates and napkins. The pizza was delicious! Next time we will try a red pizza. I'd also recommend walking down the street for an ice cream for dessert. read more

I really like this place. It looks like they're using a nice hot wood burning oven to cook the pizzas and I think that flavor really translates well. The crust has a great overall flavor and is nice and salty with a deep fermented and yeasty bread flavor. It has a beautiful charred undercarriage that still doesn't make the dough overly tough or difficult to eat. I think they achieved a good balance of a crispy outside with a tender inside. The tomatoes used on the pizza were bright and beautifully vibrant and sweet. What I liked most about their pies was the salt levels. A lot of shops serve mostly bland and under-seasoned pizzas, but the salt levels on these were perfect. Maybe it's because they top them with real grated parmesan, or they make a dough with proper percentages so salt, but it was nice to actually taste something in a pizza for once. Overall: very fresh ingredients as evident by the tomatoes. A perfectly balanced crust, both texture and taste. Wonderful salt levels from the cheese. Added bonus: the service is top notch and everyone is extremely nice and professional. It's somewhat hidden but if you're nearby I highly recommend stopping in to give them a try. read more

Pizza didn't really have flavor. Tomatoes tasted straight out of the can. Pretty expensive ($40 for 2) for a simple, 1 topping, small pizza. The crust was the best part and even that was bland, but the crunch helped. read more

Good pizza! Comfortable al fresco dining only, so be sure you go on a nice day or ready to take to eat elsewhere. They serve soda in a glass bottle and the menu said cane sugar, I didn't get a soda but I'm happy to see they serve the GOOD soda! The ingredients on the pizza were fresh and the flavors were great. I was hesitant at first because the reviews sounded a little too good to be true, for it to be a perfect "5 starts" but honestly now I understand why. It's in the middle of a white building next to a body building gym. It gives an Italian ambiance, there's no seating inside only outside but it's kept really clean. They have a brick wood oven so the crust comes out extra crunchy. One pizza which was 14" was filling for my man and I. The owner is extremely sweet, it was him and his partner making all the pizzas and he took time to bring us our pizza and then come back around to ask us what we thought about it. Definitely will be coming back. Highly recommend! read more

One of our favorite pizza spots! Don't let the simplicity of the menu fool you - all the ingredients are fresh and pizzas are all delicious. They only have take-out or patio dining, so keep that in mind! One recommendation would be to have beer/wine offered. I think they sell beer/wine but only to go (like, at your home, not on their property). We typically enjoy on site vs take out, but it would be nice to enjoy pizza with a cold beer or nice glass of wine occasionally! read more
