We flagged 2 waiters to ask for our check after he finished eating & my food still wasn't there. Those checks never came. So we got up and asked for our check where I let them know I never got my food. The lady's response "sorry." My recommendation, save your time & money and find somewhere else to eat.

After a few tastings of cappuccino, sweets and pizzas, I must say, now empirically, that La Locanda is the go-to-spot in this neighborhood for a quick breakfast or a pizza stop. The cappuccino is undeniably good, like many other places in the area. Its porcini and truffle pizza is fantastic - for a value that is just as easy to digest (as someone accustomed to Manhattan prices). But note that they only serve pizza for dinner. My most recent lunch visit allowed to try and now attest to the deliciousness of its homemade bread and the clam pasta. All in all, every visit has met and/or exceeded my expectations so far.
