I was pretty impressed how they stand by their product. I ordered 4 trees from them and out of those 3 survived and one died. They asked for some proof and then, within just 1 week replaced the product. In the past, other nurseries would tell me to wait 6-8 weeks to see if the tree revives. Of cpurse that meant keeping a dead tree in my yard for a few month and then they would ask me to mail it in! Often it was a large tree and mailing it would be a hassle not to mention quite pricey. Pixies Gardens take complaints within first two weeks and actually issue replacement. The remaining 3 trees are thriving. Purchased an artificial plant from them several weeks ago through their website.The plant I received was not as advertised. It was shown with a decorative pot and clearly stated to be appropriately 18" tall. The plant that I received was 24" tall and the pot was not as shown, different size and no decoration. Tried numerous times to contact them both by phone ( they never answer and their mail box was always full) and emails. They did acknowledge my emails by return emails stating that they would get back to me but never did. All I wanted to do was to return the plant but never received the information to do so. This company has shown the worst service ever. I ordered several small 1-2 gal plants and paid over $60 each as I thought they would be premium healthy plants. What I got was severly diseased plants with bugs crawling all over and eating them. I contacted customer service and was asked to submit pics of the plants which I did. The reply said they agreed the plants did not meet their standards. My question is if they grow these plants themselves and ship to customers why they sent them out like that. Anyway to make a long story shorter I followed up, reply was sending to customer service for review. The was May 27th. I told then the next day I was not shipping them back, they aren't worth it, plus I'm not paying the shipping to get them boxed and shipped either. I said I did not want replacements as I believe they would be the same, I wanted a refund. So for days now , its 6/2 and always the same answer .... waiting for customer service to review the case. I do not believe them, and this feels like a scam! Hello, I ordered a pink/magenta Crape Myrtle from Pixies Gardens in 2022. I had previously gotten Cherry Laurels and they shipped as expected and are now a healthy 5-6 feet tall. However, the Crape Myrtle that they sent me is not pink/fuschia. It is purple. It took a few months to discover of course since I ordered in March and it didn't bloom until July. I have emailed and postal-mailed Pixies Gardens asking for any explanation and none has come. I first assumed that it was a mix up in the warehouse or grower, where someone mis-identified or tagged something incorrectly. However what I received were toothpick-sized tiny stick cuttings measuring 9'' including oversized pot, while all it needed was a 3'' pot MAX. I've paid $69 + $25 shipping for this plant and I just want to know if anyone would pay $70 if you saw these sticks in your local nurseries. I need to catch the spring planting season. On Apr 18th, I wrote an email asking if it was shipped. I waited for their reply until Apr 23rd. They say it was late due to Covid-19. They would ship by "next week", meaning the week from Apr 27 to May 3rd. On May 1st I heard nothing and reminded them to inform me one it was shipped and 4 days later they replied sure. This has already been May 5th. Around May 11st I called them and no one answered the phone. The recorded message said they would call back in 24 hours and that did not happen. The next day I wrote to cancel the order as I have missed the season. On May 13th they replied and said it would be shipped by May 18th. Today is May 19th. Nothing happened. I am asking them again to refund. I'd they don't I have to dispute the charge with the credit card issuer because this is a scam transcation. I totally understand the impact of Covid-19 and the hard work of business owners. However the problem is this business keeps going back on their words. Ordered two trees from them, Kawanza Cherry & a Redbud, both 3 gallon that was supposed to be 4-5' tall. When they arrived, they were in a 2 gallon pots thrown in a box with zero supportive structure. The redbud had several branches broken off, so there were only two viable at 2' growth not the 4-5' they were supposed to be, and the cherry only had the current year's growth and was maybe 2' tall. I contacted them regarding the order & the fact that they shipped the wrong size plants/pots and received zero response. Now the redbud is dead & I've had to replace it. Ordered a tree from them. Was delayed with deliver, arrived in a damaged box, wrapped the roots in plastic vs a burlap sack, the tree was completely dead when it arrived to my house in Colorado. The leaves are completely wilted, the leaves have bug holes in them, the tree was completely parched and dry, most likely sat on a UPS truck in the heat for way too long. Overall poor packaging is what lead to this tree coming in the shape it did. Some branches were broken and the odds that this tree will come back after enduring everything it has been through are slim to none. This company says it prides itself on how it ships and handles its plants with care. This is completely off. Horrible packaging when shipping a living tree.... I'm called the moment I got the tree to complain but no one answered. I just emailed as well. Not only do they have a beautiful and extensive collection of plants and great prices... but the educational experience they provided was worth my money in and of itself.
