This is a MUST-STOP when traveling on I-40 between NM and TX! It has a free classic car and memorabilia MUSEUM that is really fun to see when you need a break from the boring drive along that part of I-40. It has lots of food options from nachos to banana pudding with vanilla wafers. They even have a restaurant if the gas station junk food isn't your style. I'm telling you, you won't find another gas station serving the kind of food they serve there- everything from steaks, to burritos, to catfish! They have lots of souvenirs and groceries galore. My favorite summer dress is one that my Dad gave me from there, and I had pulled it out of the backseat of my Jaguar, last time it was running. It was stolen, and everything inside of it, was gone. Thank God I got the dress, for there is no other one anywhere. It had a electrical fire, but the building is still standing. All the customers made the store, Robert Baptist, Lois, from the bookseller, who came in to wind down every afternoon, and Robert would say, "Lois, shes's a socialite", and laugh. Buddy, who bought a shirt there everyday, and threw the old one in the trash, and if he didn't, he said, "well you let the fish off the hook today!"
