Should have come here sooner. For beer lovers, this is totally worth it. Beer produced in a sophisticated and lovable way can be a rare thing to encounter in this World of ours - It's a thing you are going to find here! So far I have tried the 11° Bohemian lager (fully bitter), the 13° semi-dark special brew, the 16° ale and the awesome 18° stout - all superb! It was raining and freezing, and I wanted to give up, but we eventually made it somehow, and it was worth it. We had an amazing hot pretzel with brie cheese spread to start while we shared a beer sampler to decide what beers we wanted. We then had the best bratwurst I've ever had. It was bursting with flavor and so juicy and tender. The ambiance is wonderful too. It's in this huge old building and there were at least three large dining rooms. We picked the room near the front where cute booths curved all around the room. The back room has great views of the river. The servers were both really lovely and patient as we asked questions and decided on our meal. Wish I could go back!

The location is sort of hidden; the brewery is in a gap between two buildings. The courtyard looks to serve as a beer garden in warmer months while we ate in the basement in full view of the brew tanks. Beer is all brewed on location and they have a rotating variety posted on a signboard out front. They have a full bar and restaurant as well with a wide variety of dishes. The service was excellent as was the food, a set menu of soup, chicken and a beer sampler.
